I can only guess Hanigan has been given the most simple of gruntwork remits: clear rucks, catch a few lineouts and pressure theirs, and tackle your guts out. There’s plenty of running and flash elsewhere in the pack.

N=1 here but I recall Hanigan being a really physical ruck pest in that last Reds-Waratahs match. Easy I know when the whole team was running through the Reds, but if he can channel that again I’d be very happy.
