    Ch9 RWC coverage

Just listening to Ray announce this on his show he didn't know what Andrew Slack had accomplished in rugby, thought he was just the Channel 9 sports Brisbane commentator. The game will be on HD (GEM) live.

    Robbie Deans

Again with the private school bashing fellas? This is so old and tiresome. What about the other sides that get their players from private schools? Paarl will hopefully correct me if I'm wrong but don't most of SA's players come from their private school system? The Wallabies lack of physicality...

    Shute Shield 2011

Top game of rugby today, gripping throughout. Any word on why Tilse started ahead of Paddy Ryan as the Uni scrum improved as soon as Paddy came on.

RWC 2011 - Bitch, moan and discuss - Referees and Law Discussions

The forearm contact annoys me when it is the last man with his arm resting on his mates back and head up looking around. For mine he is not bound and fair game for the opposition - that should be a penalty for obstruction unless they have changed the definition of binding from head and shoulders...

RWC 2011 - Bitch, moan and discuss - Referees and Law Discussions

I may be dreaming but I think you need to take a look at the pic Mica posted. It shows Kepu to be in line with the middle of the ruck and POC moving forward with Genia reaching in to get the ball. POC looks to be a step in front of the hindmost feet of the last Irish feet in the ruck judging...

John O'Neil Must Have Been Misquoted

Macqueen didn't win the tri-nations until 2000. Think he was the first (and from memory the only) Australian coach to achieve the Bledisloe whitewash. Can anyone remind me what Robbie had achieved with the Wallabies when he was reappointed earlier this year?

I can't remember think it was in the 2nd half though.

RWC 2011 - Bitch, moan and discuss - Referees and Law Discussions

Watching the game against Ireland on the weekend, does anyone else think the penalty awarded to Ireland for Genia / Kepu obstruction against POC should have gone the other way? Watching the game it appeared that POC had rushed out of the line before Genia had passed the ball from the ruck...

    Ch9 RWC coverage

Does anyone know much about the anti-siphoning rules regarding Wallaby matches? I thought they had to be telecast live on free to air but 9 isn't showing the Ireland game until 8:40 Sydney time (which is 10:40 in NZ)....

Rugby Heaven's Greatest Wallabies since 1987

The only ones I would question would be Benn Robinson, Nathan Sharpe in the tighthead lock position and Stirling Mortlock over Little or Herbert (though all three were fantastic I would suggest that the fact Mortlock was the most recent may have tipped the scales in his favour).

    Central Coast Rugby Union 2011

Haven't actually been able to get out to any games this year as I have a young family but from what I can gather first grade is similar whilst a lot of clubs are struggling for numbers in lower grades, there didn't seem to be as many 3rd grade teams this year. It would be great to have a state...

Wallabies Backline for the world cup.

That would depend on which team you are playing. Against the ABs I would stick with the players who did the job tonight - bring JOC (James O'Connor) onto the bench in place of Horne. Against the big boppers of England or South Africa I would have JOC (James O'Connor) or Mitchell on the wing, probably for AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper), with AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) on the...

Last Tri Ever: GAGR Wallabies vs. All Blacks MOM

    3. Genia - magnificent performance. ABs will have to go back to the drawing board as they thought they had him figured out. 2. Ioane - had a huge workrate and could quite easily have scored a try or two more. 1. Horwill - A magnificent captain's knock, huge workrate and a real physical presence.

    Tri Nations Game 6 - Wallabies vs All Blacks - Saturday 27 August 2011 - 3N2011

Well done Wallabies to hold on for the win, still need to put in a full 80 of absolute intensity though.
