That's more than Phil Mooney was on at the Reds a while back. They will have a host of people apply for that. Seems like a bit of overkill to me. They could probably spend the money on the development of the game on the Coast and provide a real pathway for players from school into senior grades.

I think it would be best to reward coaches who are running successful programs and have done for a period of time. Also they have to fit in with what the next level are trying to achieve. I don't think that experience as a professional coach is a requirement, otherwise we could get Jeff Miller...
