Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

In which case, the whingerati wil insist the selectors have been proved wrong, when in fact they've been proved right.

    Chicken runners run fast.

This is great! Not great skills but what a contest. This RWC is fantastic.

RWC: AUS v URU (Villa Park, Birmingham): POOL A; 9pm (AEST) Sunday 27 September

What does an excellent halfback do? Granted he made no incisive runs. But he gave great service to his flyhalf.

I thought Phipps was pretty faultless today. May have played himself in.

Nah. We have more than enough jumpers. Betcha the coaching team agrees.

That doesn't make sense. No one is suggesting we play with two jumping options. We're already starting with three: Simmons, Fardy and Douglas. Also two secondaries: Pocock and Hooper, who will play the 80. We're not playing lineouts, we're playing rugby. Do we really need two jumping options on...

Why doesn't a lock with height satisfy that requirement? Lineouts are important but we don't need to design our game around them.

RWC: AUS v URU (Villa Park, Birmingham): POOL A; 9pm (AEST) Sunday 27 September

I think we can. McMahon plays 6, 7 and and 8 perfectly well. He loses nothing from anyone else in physicality. The only deficit is height.

I'd be surprised. Simmons and Douglas are both 80-minute players. We need one lock on the bench.

Surely McMahon has made a better case than McCalman?

No, he was very good. One bad pass. Every Wallaby made one bad pass today.

Yeah, with the 3-game compression gone, the first-choice replacement is one of the hookers.

No one will like you for praising Beale. But he was very good.

We wouldn't be picking Quade for his kicking. We'd be picking him for his playmaking. Giteau can kick fine. I'd be picking Cooper, on the balance of all the intangibles. But I'd also be picking Phipps.

Too many Wobs going for the miracle ball here! McMahon is a monster. He could be the best McPooper in a year or two.
