    NZ Match Reports

Anscombe was very average when he was at the Blues and although I haven't seen the game, from the reports it looks like he hasn't improved all that much....

    NZ Match Reports

I was having this conversation with some of the boys back home the other day. People have been saying 'Why did the Blues ever let Anscombe go?' I'm like - don't you remember how average he was?!

    Refereeing decisions

I'm actually saying his reflexes weren't fast enough to wrap someone who wasn't actually there anymore. Great tackle, soft call. I don't think I've ever seen a player 'grasping air' after a tackle but the thought of it is quite funny.

    Refereeing decisions

A lot of tackles and great hits start with the arms being down. It's quite difficult to run with your arms up ready to wrap. Soft, soft, soft.

    Refereeing decisions

This was a ridiculous YC. Great tackle. It's not the tacklers fault if the player getting hit drops so quickly he doesn't get a chance to wrap his arms. Great hit and exactly the kind of tackle you want to see in rugby - not high but hard and honest.

    Brumbies v. Blues Rd 8 2014

Nah....I was at that game and it only really started raining in the 2nd half. The weather is SHIT here today. Definitely more like last year in Auckland and again I think it suits the Brumbies. But if you want to be the Champions, the weather doesn't matter... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    New Zealand Rugby Team Watch

Really? From the numbers I've seen, he's taller than both Cane and Todd and only only slightly lighter. He both taller and heavier than Michael Hooper, Liam Gill, Latimer and Ardie Savea. I can't see size being the big issue.

Braid also has the 'C' next to his name at the Blues as well which surely counts for something especially given how well he's playing. It will be a tragedy if he doesn't get a decent shot this year - I love how much work Braid gets thru every week. He's a machine.

    State of Origin Rugby

We have a number of the best players in the game - remember that SBW guy? - but our coaches....hmmmm. When we won the World Cup we had this Bennett guy involved in the team. Appaprently a team of champions doesn't make a champion team :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Sharks v Tahs, round 7 2014

Wow....he pulled him by the back of his jersey and swung him to the ground long after Beale passed the ball. Nope...that's not how the hard men of this game play. Bitch.Ass. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Experimental Laws to Promote Try-scoring Rugby in new NRC

I think you'll find the more attacking teams are winning....not the teams with 'negative tactics'....which is a subjective statement anyway. What you don't find entertaining some rugby watchers find enthralling.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Experimental Laws to Promote Try-scoring Rugby in new NRC

Given how much I enjoy watching rugby I don't really think it's that big of a problem. Players will not want to take the risk of getting binned for 2min no matter what the stat is for points scored when a team is short (especially when you see games like the Rebels/Brumbies game where I...

I don't think we have it here in Aussie....so piss off...LOL

    Sharks v Tahs, round 7 2014

Nah... it was a cowardly, bitch-ass tackle.

Experimental Laws to Promote Try-scoring Rugby in new NRC

Because who wants to compete for possession where if you get it wrong or if the ref 'interprets' the laws a certain way then you're off to the bin?? You'd just make a tackle and everyone fan out.....how many tries scored then?!

    Refereeing decisions

The double-movement try from the Blues is the first time I've ever heard a ref completely disregard the TMO and I wouldn't be at all surprised if there was some kind of mis-understanding due to the language. Mistakes happen and will continue to.....welcome to life.

Experimental Laws to Promote Try-scoring Rugby in new NRC

Yeah....we don't want people actually trying to compete for possession when the opposition is so close to scoring a try right? If tries are the only thing you really find exciting or entertaining about rugby....don't watch it!

    Sharks v Tahs, round 7 2014

His 'tackle' was enough for a suspension by itself.

    Sharks v Tahs, round 7 2014

WTF is an off-field Yellow Card?!? Same BS as Horwill's one last year - it means SFA. Honestly, it's a bullshit punishment. I don't believe for one second that Steyn didn't know that the pass had gone.....that's bullshit.
