    RWC 2011 - Quarter final 3 : Springbokke v. Wallabies CLOSED

Weather in Wellington is looking good. Fine conditions - light winds. Yes, it could change but would rather it be this than wet hoping for a change later. The ground looked like it held up really well last night and I wouldn't describe that match as one that showed any ill-effects of this wet...

    RWC QF2: England v France (W Pool B v RU Pool A)

Viva la froggies......more of the same please. It has been quite while since I have enjoyed three halves of footy so much. I don't think England are done but would love to see the frogs run away with it.

This could prove to be an epiphany A...... Bring on QTR final # 2.

    RWC 2011 QF1: Ireland v Wales (W Pool C v RU Pool D)

Is it to much to ask for our boys to do the same thing tomorrow? The Welsh performance tonight is what I have been hoping to see from AUS all year. Sure there was no razzle-dazzle stuff but it was great to watch nonetheless.

Say It Ain't So!!! McCaw may be GONE...

Sorry A.....Kaino is fine, Kahui is who I was thinking of.

    RWC 2011 QF1: Ireland v Wales (W Pool C v RU Pool D)

I thought Joubert had a good game in the middle? Could have possibly blown a few more for slow ball but I would prefer to see the game flow. One of the better reffing efforts I have seen this Cup.

    RWC 2011 QF1: Ireland v Wales (W Pool C v RU Pool D)

WOW! Congratulations to the Welsh boys. What a solid performance. All the big words in there - accurate, direct, disciplined, aggressive & controlled. All done with a very low error count and an equal amount of possession. I hope our boys can defend with 100% commitment from start to finish...

    RWC 2011 QF1: Ireland v Wales (W Pool C v RU Pool D)

The conditions look pretty good there -a bit windy but otherwise pretty nice. Hoping for at least as good for our run tomorrow. I am rooting for the Irish in this one in the off chance they make it all the way along with AUS. Would like the opportunity for some payback in the final.

Maybe that could be simply described as BIG BALLS.

What is the Best Internet Site to Watch Live Rugby??

Have some pity for us poor bastards in the USA - it is costing me $15 a game on Pay-per-view through DirectTV. DirectTV (a satelite network) and major US cable provider own the rights to all the rugby in the US. They picked up the rugby when Setanta went bust in the us. All the trinations and...

    RWC 2011 - Quarter final 3 : Springbokke v. Wallabies CLOSED

"There is far too much talk about good ball and bad ball. In my opinion, good ball is when you have possession and bad ball is when the opposition have it." Dick Jeeps (1976) Amen

Say It Ain't So!!! McCaw may be GONE...

Even if he makes it through to next weekend, the bugger is going to be on one leg. You would think he is going to have a pretty hard time protecting that foot for a whole match. I would assume that all the opposition piggies know exactly which foot it is that is giving him the trouble too and...

    RWC 2011 - Quarter final 3 : Springbokke v. Wallabies CLOSED

As I have stated before, I was in favor or Barnes starting over McCabe but in the spirit of getting behind the boys and believing that we will win - Peppermint understands upon what strengths he has been selected and will get out and have a blinder. I am hoping he smashes some tackles and gets...

    RWC 2011 - Quarter final 3 : Springbokke v. Wallabies CLOSED

I rate both Barnes and McCabe very highly but my preference was for Barnes to start and McCabe be on the bench. They both offer a great deal to the side and have a different skill-set. What makes me the most nervous about RD's selection is Barnes will not be on the field to take any shots at...

    Quade Cooper interview Channel 9

WOW!!!! What an amazing life that must have been. Quite astounding! One can only imagine the amount of time Richards must have spent at sea travelling from place to place.......must have equated to years on a ship - and to think the lads these days complain about 13 hours on a plane.

    RWC 2011 QF4: NZ v Argentina (W Pool A v RU Pool B)

Just read on the NZ Herald site that Israel Dagg has been ruled out of the QTR Final - thigh injury from last week...... http://www.nzherald.co.nz/rugby-world-cup-2011/news/article.cfm?c_id=522&objectid=10757163

Nice to see the boys all looking after each other while on tour. Must make all the Mum's at home feel at ease. JOC (James O'Connor) looks like he is ready to tweet his latest epiphany.
