Australia v England: Match III, SCG, Sat 16th July 7.55pm AEST

Stop blaming the ref. We had our chances and didnt take them. Simple as that.

Australia v England: Match III, SCG, Sat 16th July 7.55pm AEST

Wright and Hodge I'd say are both semi-reliable. Obviously Wright is not the most reliable player in other areas of his game but his kicking game isn't terrible. I do tend to agree that depending on how there kicking/territory game goes will be a big decider in who wins the match, and England...

What if its a close game and we lose by a small margin?

Australia v England: Match III, SCG, Sat 16th July 7.55pm AEST

Only at line-out time I'd say. I would prefer Leota around the park, maybe even his bigger body at scrum time. A fit LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) I would prefer, but his match fitness and form is unknown (likely not up to stratch).

Does Leota even have any experience as a lock?

Australia v England: Match II @ Suncorp 7.55pm AEST, 09/07

I tend to disagree. I thought if FF (Folau Fainga'a) line-out was straight with the momentum we had we were a good chance to score which would have levelled the game. I think we had lots of moments in the second half we looked like we could win. Those JOC (James O'Connor) kicks and lineout errors were costly. I think the margin...

Australia v England: Match II @ Suncorp 7.55pm AEST, 09/07

No issues with the ref, I don't think any of there calls affected the result of the game. We had chances to win, but made errors in crucial moments which changed momentum - any of JOC (James O'Connor)'s kicks, or the FF (Folau Fainga'a) crooked line-out. I think I wouldn't mind starting FF (Folau Fainga'a) and bring on Porecki at half time...

Australia v England: Match II @ Suncorp 7.55pm AEST, 09/07

Gotta say it was a poor call from Rennie to even select JOC (James O'Connor) for the bench. He was open about JOC (James O'Connor) lacking sharpness and he was not wrong. So why pick him? Hodge, Wright, and probably even Campbell all less risky options. On a positive, JOC (James O'Connor)'s running game looked dangerous, he has regained his...

Agree with TT and Ikiatau. I wouldn't mind even if TT played 60-70mins. He does it for the Reds regularly, otherwise come off the bench at halftime. Actually, I'd go with Wright at 15 after last night. Love the idea of Vunivalu on the wing. Hodge as bench cover.

Thought T. Wright was pretty good. Porecki solid and making the 2 spot his own.

I thought Gordon looked good and helped speed up play.

Wright was solid at fullback for the Brums, so my guess is his ability to act as a second FB is preferred over Muirhead who's height and size alone could be a bit of a liability at test level, especially under high balls. I think you need the 2 x Fullback back three against England.

Australia v England: Match II @ Suncorp 7.55pm AEST, 09/07

Wright could go either way in having a blinder or making an error that loses us the game. It looks to me like our back-3 are the weak-link so I really hope the guys step up, absorb the pressure, and have there catching mits on. I feel this may be where the game is won or lost.

Australia v England: Match II @ Suncorp 7.55pm AEST, 09/07

I still love Petaia at 13. I think it's his best position and he could easily be the best 13 in the country and possibly even eventually the world. I feel his career is going to be similar to AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) in terms of his playing position. In that, he's covering positions we have a lack of depth rather...

Australia v England: Match II @ Suncorp 7.55pm AEST, 09/07

I'm not on the same page with JOC (James O'Connor) covering 12 and 15 at a pinch. He hasn't played in either position in years. He would be a major liability in defense at 12, and at 15 a liability under the high ball, potential positioning issues, and doesn't have the pace for a decent fullback. I see JOC (James O'Connor) as...

Australia v England: Match II @ Suncorp 7.55pm AEST, 09/07

I like the idea of starting Gordon over White, but with Cooper out now probably better to keep White for his combination with Lolesio. If AAA is back, I would probably choose Sio over Slipper for the final prop spot. I expect Wright/Hodge to take the bench spot as both are good FB cover. I...

    Australia v England Test 1 Sat. July 2 @1955

Great fight back but i have to say England looked pretty damn shit. I thought Ireland looked real sharp in the first 20mins against the darkness and the intensity in that game looked much higher then this game, especially in the first half. Lots of improving from both teams to do. Both...
