    Reds vs Brumbies - Rd 5, 2015

The only Reds likely to make the Wallaby matchday 23 at this stage are Slipper, Simmons and Cooper, two of which won't be back for another two weeks anyway. Genia, Horwill are also outside chances I guess, with Holmes an even more outside chance, and he's another still out. Plenty of time to...

    Coaching Options for Qld Rugby

I thought that, at least mid season, we had most of our first choice team available, especially prior to Cooper's injury. I remember that Ant and Gill in particular had a particularly stop start season due to injuries, and we bled fullbacks, but apart from that I thought we had periods where...

    Coaching Options for Qld Rugby

And remind me, how did the Reds go under Graham in the latter part of last season when most of the team were on the park? It's the not the losses, it's the manner of the losses. The team just looks clueless and poorly coached with no discernible game plan. And it's the same story as last...

One issue with Graham out is also Tongan Thor, currently living at Graham's house.

The best timing would be right before a bye. The byes are next week after the Brumbies game (week 6), and in week 12.

At least with an interim coach they can re-engage with the fans. Letting this run for the season could cost them a lot of support. At least the board acting and sticking in an interim coach is telling the fans they understand what is going on. Secondly, any top players who are getting more...

    Coaching Options for Qld Rugby

Look at the way the Reds warm up to games, it's appalling. It looks unstructured, full of errors and very low impact when compared to the opposition team. It's just amazing what is going on with the Reds right now.

I'd take McDuling over Kotze. McDuling was better in his 64 minutes than Kotze was in 80. I'd also swap Taps and Kerevi - Kerevi is a 13, Taps is a 12. Hunt or Turner, I am not sure we will get what we need from our fullback. I am not sure on Tui yet either. I doubt we will see him at...

    Reds 2015

Well, I'd say that the longer the Graham gets to drive the Reds into the ground the less likely that stars like Cooper will hang around. At this stage I'd be shocked if Cooper is there next year, and that's a tragedy for the Reds. Amazing how much damage an incompetent head coach can do in a...

    Reds vs Brumbies - Rd 5, 2015

Brumbies with a bonus point victory. No idea on the score, but the Reds to score probably 1 try in the loss.

    Coaching Options for Qld Rugby

If the Reds do cop the likely pasting from the Brumbies next week, the best thing the QRU board can do is sack Graham immediately, allowing a caretaker / interim coach the bye week to get things settled, then an easier game vs the Lions to start off with.

They've quit, although they don't finish for another few weeks yet. It's been talked about in other threads.

Yet somehow no mention of Steve Meehan's attack coach position. What has Meehan been doing since he started? The two coaches that it appears need to go are Graham and Meehan. The S&C staff hadn't done particularly well either judging by the amount of injuries and lack of fitness last year...

    Reds 2015

I've yet to see a Reds team under Graham play to any coherent structure. Nearly everytime they lose they say that they couldn't execute the game plan. It may be a bit too much to expect any structure now. The thing was, though, under Link the Reds were very structure and played to a visible...

    Reds 2015

JOC (James O'Connor) wasn't nearly as deep as Frisby was. Was just rubbish. However, Frisby will stay at 10 according to Graham. Insanity. http://www.foxsports.com.au/rugby/under-fire-queensland-coach-richard-graham-remains-defiant-as-reds-continue-to-struggle/story-e6frf4pu-1227254151725 Graham is just...

What has McKay been doing since he lost his job for the Wallabies? And what Australian coaches are currently in Japan and elsewhere? I assume Brian Smith and Tattsy Taylor are the most likely coaches from Europe.

Rumour goes that it was cronyism (or nepotism, the way that word is used these days).

From what I understand, Link had nothing to do with Graham's appointment. It was the QRU board, of which several Graham is apparently close to.

    Reds 2015

Anyone catch the presser? Facebook page said it was up on the Reds Rugby home page, but I missed it. The photo showed a nearly empty room with barely any journos and just RG and a player (Slipper?). Depressing. So the burning question is: which performance was worse? Round 1, or...

    Reds 2015

The guys who monitor the Reds social media sure earn their wage by the amount of posts they delete from the Facebook page from pissed off fans, Someone must be sick and tired from deleting post after post calling for Graham's head.
