These TMOs are overbearing and insane.

Just thinking of that 2012 team makes me wonder what could have been if we kept Cam Crawford.........

    Brumbies 2019

Possible reasons: Carter - abandoned by the Wallabies set up, well liked when he played in France Rory - No foreseeable reason Richie and Enever - Good enough to start somewhere

I haven't been more excited by a forward since Fardy showed that promise on his EPS contract in 2012. I hope Swain is happy to take his chances and develop mainly through the NRC, because lord knows he's the future for us.

    Rebels 2019

If To'omua comes in, I expect it's at 10. However, he showed he could play there for the Brumbies and still play 12 for the Wallabies, and it does mean we can have confidence in him covering 10 if Foley goes down. Also I can't believe you could be getting To'omua. If only we didn't give him the...

33 players, maybe 2 too many, but it's not like it's 40+! If anyone is being dropped, it's Banks, Rona, and Timu.

My take on your (great) prediction: Hooker: TPN is a certainty, probably Latu and Uelese as the backups. Prop: No changes needed. Lock: Coleman, Rodda, Philip, Rory Arnold. Backrow: Pocock, Hooper, McMahon, Dempsey, Hanigan, Timu. Maybe RHP to cover both backrow and lock too. Halfback: Genia...

He was our best hooker and only behind TPN (imo) in the country, it's a shame about the injury but I hope he returns in good nick for his final season. Then, I agree, time for younger faces.

I hope you're right! I want him to stick around and compete with Fainga'a for the starting jersey. Worst case, he's a great reserve who can tackle, scrummage, hook the ball, and throw in the lineout. We should be fighting to keep him.

The confirmed staying and probable re-signing columns are what I've been lead to believe, and I agree that there's a lot to question in the decision making. Again, agreed. Much as I love Ben, he wasn't great for us on the weekend and was clearly done before he was subbed. I'd much prefer to...

    The Wallabies Thread

Wishing Kerevi all the best, that's not a pleasant end to the season. I've said it before, Kerevi is not the answer to the problem people have with Kuridrani at 13. I think Kuridrani at 13 is one of the best in the world. However, if you want to deal with the issues some people have, then Rona...

Regarding turnover, I think our forwards have been great and we should be retaining as many as possible. For our backs, a re-do is needed. The back three works (though we need to do something to stop Speight being forced into 3-on-1s out wide), and Kuridrani is a defensive rock. Our...

    Brumbies 2019

If I was in charge, I'd be keeping Peni and considering him as our 12 next season, and Dargaville should certainly be kept forthe bench and given a few starting chances. However, I also think the board will look at it and say that Peni is a player who has been suspended for 30 weeks over the...

    Brumbies 2019

I expect this is how they reached the 29 players: 20 contracted, 4 they expect to re-sign, 5 they're trying to re-sign, and then 10 that they either aren't willing to fight to retain, or straight up don't want to.

2018 TV ratings and crowd numbers

I’ll speak for myself and the people I go to games with: the June series was great, but we were more excited for the Brumbies to be back, and definitely didn’t forget that this game was on.

Players we know are contracted to stay: Ala'alatoa, Mann-Rea, Abel, Fainga'a, Carter, both Arnolds, Enever, Pocock, Cusack, Samu, Valetini, Powell, Lucas, Hawera, Jackson-Hope, Kuridrani, Speight, Taliauli, and Banks. If they stick around, that’s 20 of the 29 McKellar expects to stay. There’s...

Forwards aside (they aren't the issue with this team), we need to start thinking about what's happening at 12 next year. Should we try: Using Hawera in the To'omua-12 style? Playing Peni in the same way the Force used him? Getting Paia’aua from the Reds? Seeing if Jackson-Hope can step up...
