Great try by the Baa Baas there.

POC and Davies impressed me most in the first half. A lot of players seem to be suffering from nerves and coupled with the conditions has resulted in a lot of errors. Farrell's goal kicking has been a complete contrast to the rest of his game. Hope the Baa Baa's make a game of it in the 2nd half.

I'm interested to see if Sexton gets on before Philips goes off to see if they have a better understanding than Philips has with Farrell so far.

Payne's been playing very well for Ulster.

Philips did really well to finish that one, but he had to after ignoring an overlap for the 2nd time.

Maybe Aus should draft in Walsh to make sure Deans picks the props on the right side of the scrum.

Great contest between Roberts and Rokocoko for that high ball.

He is quick but would have expected him to finish that chance. Would have been good to settle his nerves.

If Farrell keeps going like this for the rest of the game I wouldn't be surprised if Wilkinson is on a plane to Aus some time next week.

Interesting decision from Walsh on that one. Told Parisse that "because of the match it's a yellow" for Brits punch on Farrell. Farrell temperament in question again. One clearance kick straight to Payne for a half chance for the Baa Baa, followed by a charge down. Then his holding on at the...

Lions tour is now really underway. Good intensity at the start of this game. Great hit by Laulala on Hogg. Farrell has just slotted a penalty to give the Lions an early lead. Plenty more to come from this game.

Jenkins is out of the Baa Baas game with a calf injury while Warburton is a doubt due to a knock picked up in training. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-union/22701786

Forgot to mention that the statement from the Lions was that if he is unavailable for the Force game (5th of June) he'll be replaced in the squad. So if they stick to that anything from 2 weeks up will see him replaced. It is possible that his red card could be deemed as sufficient punishment...

Hartley has an absolutely terrible record but he still manages to get influential figures to speak on his behalf and get any sanction reduced to a level appropriate to a first time offender. Last year he was up for biting they managed to convince the panel that he was a reformed character...

Thanks Scott, definitely going to catch it on Sky Go when they have the replay up.

    Heineken Cup 2013

Missed this years final for the first time in a long time. Had to get up early to collect someone from Tokyo airport so couldn't stay up to watch it. Doesn't sound like I missed too much based on match reports I've read. But it at least seemed to have an exciting finish.

    Heineken Cup 2013

Heaslip is among the 5 nominations for ERC player of the year along with Wilkinson of Toulon and Bonnaire, Fofana & Sivivatu of Clermont. Heaslip's emmense performance in the semi final plus his shift tonight were good enough for him to win it. But realistically as his performances came in the...

Also it looks like Ronan O'Gara might be joining Sexton at Racing as he's been linked with a coaching position with them.

    Heineken Cup 2013

Leinster won the Challenge Cup final 34-13 against Stade Francais. Stade had the majority of possession but Leinster backed their defence and forced error after error from Stade. Stade had been in the Leinster 22 nine times for no reward before they finally got their 1st and what turned out to...

    Heineken Cup 2013

Stan will get a good reception when he comes on, how big the cheer is might depend on what the score is at the time. He was with us a long time, performed consistently well and was popular with the crowd. The fact he was injured most of his final season and also that the news of him leaving...
