Force vs B&I Lions - Wed. 5 Jun

BOD in at the corner for try no. 2 to the Lions. Nice interplay tight to the touchline by the Lions.

Really enjoying this one so far.

Some great defence from the Force, showing some real heart.

Force vs B&I Lions - Wed. 5 Jun

If I was the ARU one message I'd be sending out to the Aus Super Rugby coaches would be, no matter what you do don't injure Farrell.

Force vs B&I Lions - Wed. 5 Jun

Great try by Sexton, 8-0 conversion to come from right in front.

That lineout was so crooked it could have been a scrum feed.

Force vs B&I Lions - Wed. 5 Jun

3-0 Lions Halfpenny with an easy penalty from dead centre. some big gaps in the Force defence in the opening minutes.

Force vs B&I Lions - Wed. 5 Jun

Just a warm up game, but at kick off I had as many butterflies as a crucial RWC game. to me that's what's special about the Lions.

Force vs B&I Lions - Wed. 5 Jun

BOD leads the Lions out on the pitch and it really feels like the tour has finally started. Really excited after all the build up this year.

Force vs B&I Lions - Wed. 5 Jun

Woodward doesn't hold much weight in a Lions context after the disaster that was 2005, the guy never really got the Lions ethos. However Mr Lions, Ian McGeechan, just said on Sky Sports coverage that it was disrespectful to the Lions. Really looking forward to kick off, obviously hoping for a...

Force vs B&I Lions - Wed. 5 Jun

Hey TBH. I don't think that removing Aus as a stop for the Lions tour would be part of the discussion. It's that adding additional stops may be on the table for discussion, as opposed to the one off games that have kicked off recent tours. There's is talk of adding Argentina into the...

Force vs B&I Lions - Wed. 5 Jun

I completely understand why Foley prioritised the Tahs game but I still can't help feeling disappointed. Maybe the Force never had a chance even with their best team. But the majority of non-test teams that have beaten the Lions over the years also never had a chance. A spirited display even...

As far as I've seen it's been build up from the Lions side. A Lions legend series etc. Sky, who broadcast the Lions over here, also shows most S15 games and does a round up of all the tries each round. As the tour progresses I'd expect them to switch more focus to the Aus team. Especially guys...

I wouldn't mind too much if Wilkinson is called up. Yes there are far more exciting options available but currently I have no confidence in Farrell beyond his goal kicking ability. If Gatland is going to bring someone on to close out the game I would rather it be Wilkinson than Farrell...

No Kearney and Warburton again. Warburton is expected to make the game at the weekend. Kearney is set to miss both and the coaches are getting a little worried. Probably early nest week we'll know if they are going to call up extra cover for FB.

Ì have to agree with JSRF10 most people are expecting a very close series with it 2-1 either way. There are a few outliers who are blowing smoke and predicting 3-0 hammerings one way or the other, but you'll always get a few of them no matter the relative strength of the teams. Despite the...

B&I Lions v Barbarians, Hong Kong, Sat 1st June, 9:30pm AEST

Brits got 3 weeks for his punch on Farrell.

B&I Lions v Barbarians, Hong Kong, Sat 1st June, 9:30pm AEST

Certainly not the best performance from the Lions but it was a good run out for a first game of the tour. Now as usual it's about who can get up to speed quick enough to form effective combinations and nail down a test starting spot. A lot of the guys who started tonight, and were not penciled...

B&I Lions v Barbarians, Hong Kong, Sat 1st June, 9:30pm AEST

Probably better off with the score cut off with how the game is opening up for the Lions now in that case.

B&I Lions v Barbarians, Hong Kong, Sat 1st June, 9:30pm AEST

Philips and Farrell off. One played like a guy who's had previous Lions experience and someone who's favourite to make the test team. The other played like a guy on debut who no one expects to start the first test v Aus. Philips excellent, Farrell very poor.
