    Wallabies 2020

There is no way he gets capped this year. There are still several wing options who have not had a test and all that have deserve to be given more opportunity. He was quoted after the NRL GF that he was having second thoughts. This might just be to help him get back on board?

He’s just hanging about and needs something to do. I hope they are not paying what is reported. We are pretty flush with talented young wingers right now

Bledisloe #4 New Zealand vs Australia Nov 7 2020

Sad that we will not see Swinton again until next year, more so for him than anyone else but as said, he may learn a valuable lesson at the start of his test career.

It is still a heavy suspension. maybe he needs it to temper his aggression? It was a matter of inches, for both tackles.

They need to look at this card and suspension system. He was given a red and all agree that this was the correct call as per the current laws and directives. But a suspension through to Feb next year? That’s crazy! There was no ill intent in either of the red card tackles. They were lazy and not...

He had priors so could not be halved. It was reduced by 2 weeks. We will see him next year.

So back to the drawing board at 6 for this year. Samu, Hanigan, Wright or Naisarani?

Unlikely though. Hoping they deem the red card enough.

    Wallabies 2020

Maybe that will prove to be his spot? It was an impressive debut.

    Wallabies 2020

What position did he play before going to the NRL?

    Wallabies 2020

Wright was so assured. When he dropped back and then cleared off his left foot was impressive. His positional play and option taking was top notch and he easily got around his opposite on a number of occasions. I imagine that he and Wilson will gel well out wide.

Both hookers looked the goods on the weekend. I am a massive fan of Ueleses but have to admit he was disappointing a couple of weeks ago. He might be carrying an injury as he was not involved for Aus A? BPA in particular has stepped it up.

    Wallabies 2020

With the two reds on the weekend, are those two likely to get further sanction or will the red cards be enough?

But give him his dues. He really put the ABs under pressure and his work rate was through the roof in those 34 minutes. I’m guessing Rennie is very pleased with his performance. He will get better and more accurate. He certainly made a bigger impression than anyone else at 6 this year, possibly...

Finegan was very aggressive and became more controlled with age, a little anyway. Not sure that Owen could get up that high in the lineout. They are different players. Finegan was excellent at carrying and had a masterful short offload, a bit like Wilson.

His defence last night was full on. I’m not sure I have seen him tackle like that previously. It’s great to have him in the starting side for both his goal and line kicking as well. It also gives us further options on the bench. He actually carried off playing 10 without a second playmaker...

How good was Swinton in the lineout? On a couple of pretty wayward throws he was so high and reached across to pluck them literally out of the darkness. I’d like to see Hosea get a run against the Argies so we can build our second row depth.

Paisami was excellent again. He missed a couple of tackles but made some telling ones as well. The bloke is just tough as nails and made for test footy. Would not be a bad selection to play Hodge at 12 outside JOC (James O'Connor) until To'omua returns with Paisami on the bench covering 12/13. Either way its...

Rennie has brought this squad a long way in 4 games against the darkness. All those debuts and a few re-positionings. The future looks bright once again. Reece Hodge is the ultimate super sub and pretty good anywhere from 10 to 15. I look forward to the next couple of games.
