And have a reliable set piece.

    2nd Test Wallabies v France 8pmTuesday 13th July,

It’s a big game for both Gordon and Lolesio. Forwards need to consolidate what they achieved last week and put it on a platter for these two with a lot of time and space.

    2nd Test Wallabies v France 8pmTuesday 13th July,

Phipps could not hit the side of a barn a lot of the time. His passing got better but it was never that good. Man had a big motor and great running skills though. He was better than Gordon.

    2nd Test Wallabies v France 8pmTuesday 13th July,

Didn’t Gordon put one straight out last week and put a couple of others too deep? I thought Tates kicking was pretty good when he came on. Rennie seemed to think so.

    Wallabies 2021

I would have thought that Hodge on the bench would have been a good choice? To'omua is the back up 10 in that 23. Rennie is obviously looking for something else and he sees part of it in Lolesio. At half back we have pretty good depth so no issue there.

He gets another chance, as does Gordon. Hopefully they both make a better fist of it. Are JOC (James O'Connor) and Hodge injured or available?

    Wallabies 2021

Thats an odd comment? It’s a test side that needs decent options at 10. So far Lolesio does not look the part. Once again, hope he proves me wrong if chosen to start again. That sounds a bit like a broken record.

    2nd Test Wallabies v France 8pmTuesday 13th July,

Hooper has to be there. He is without question the best 7 in Oz and maybe the best forward in that pack. I doubt we would have got home last week without him.

To qualify that, I am not advocating a NSW 10. The young bloke at the Rebels looks pretty good too. We just need to give someone else a run at some point as well.

I sort of agree with that Nutter but you qualify it at the end by saying he “may” get there. Thats about it. The RWC is not that far away. I think we should be looking at at least one other option as well. We know JOC (James O'Connor) can do the job but we need a decent backup, or two, beyond him. Hodge can...

JOC (James O'Connor) looks in good shape training on social media today?

    Wallabies 2021

Problem is that the halves were very shaky, Gordon and Lolesio. Throwing either Foketi or Simone in gives them less experience. Playing Perese at 13 and moving Paisami in puts a lot of pressure on him. JOC (James O'Connor) and/or Hodge need to come in to shore up the midfield. Ideally JOC (James O'Connor) starts at 10. This will...

Winter Tour; Wallabies v France Wednesday 7 July, Brisbane

You have to play your best team for this match in order to give yourself the best chance of securing the series. It is 6 days between the tests so not too different from a normal window. Play around with selections if the third test becomes a “dead” rubber. The best thing for this squad now...

    Wallabies 2021

He has said he intends to make himself available for the RWC. It’s probably a one or two year deal and he will sign early with an Oz side to make himself eligible

I thought that Rennie had said that he will put out his best side for test 2? Also that doing so would not rule out multiple changes.

Ok. I thought that I saw both training with the squad.

With White definitely not available it would not surprise to see the 2 halfbacks roles reversed and maybe even Lornegan coming in. It’s unlikely that they both will play all 3 tests.

Winter Tour; Wallabies v France Wednesday 7 July, Brisbane

We have several first choice players that were not available. If they become available now you would think they will either start or come off the bench. JOC (James O'Connor) and White first and foremost. They could control the game much better, as could the combo of Tate McDermott and JOC (James O'Connor). You would have to...

It happens. I’m a massive fan of Ueleses but I can see that Lornegan brings a lot more than him and belongs. Lornegan was good last night. In the backs Koroibete edged out McDermott and Paisami. The rest were average or worse. Both Lolesio and Banks have failed to impress in any test at any...

Haha……..He was bad. Almost as bad as Gordon and Lolesio. Sorry Slim, shaky ground here for your mob.
