23 New Western Force Jersey Sponsors in 2014

would GAGR be willing to stump up the $25k if the bloggers can come up with a fair chunk of the required cash.... Would be a lot of fun for the GAGR community and some of its sponsors / advertisers. Surely it would direct a fair bit of traffic to the site, resulting in more advertising. What do...

If GAGR wants to sponsor one, I'm in for a pineapple. Imagine the promotional possibilities with www.greenandgoldrugby.com on front of the jersey. For the sake of the game.....

The media coverage and speculation of participants in January/ Feb should keep the news pages interesting for the crashmeister.

I can see the North Harbour team doing nicely actually. It will be in a massive rugby area with 4 grounds to play at and should generate decent crowds, interest and gate revenue. A Thursday night game at Chatswood Oval between a North Harbour / West Sydney Rams would be a belter.

    Shute Shield 2014

Plus it was encouraging to read in addition to Manly's $140k profit, they have raised $250k so far for the foundation. Its clear that if a club makes significant efforts with the local community as Manly has done, sponsorships open up. I see big things for the Marlins in 2014.

    Shute Shield 2014

Warringah also posted a profit of $40k off a revenue base of $310. Pretty impressive though surely to operate effectively a clubs needs more than that. Uni has a revenue amount of $1.3 million more - how do you compete with that?

    Shute Shield 2014

Actually just saw the Sydney Uni report. Makes for sombre reading if you're one of the have-nots. They posted a small profit this year off a revenue of $1.6 million. They have a foundation containing $2.85 mil and are looking to raise another $1.85 mil. I must say, reading about their efforts in...

    Shute Shield 2014

So far 3 clubs have released their annual reports to the public, Randwick, Manly and Gordon and all 3 have posted profits this season, though I do wonder what the headline revenue figure looks like as compared to 2003 for example. Anyone seen any other annual reports released?

Australian Rugby Union (ARU) - Positivity Thread

Good news re grass roots growth of the game. The recently formed Sydney Inner West minis comp has seen the emergece of a few new juniors clubs. Briars formed a juniors club last year, St Patricks Old Boys will be this year and Balmain continues to grow after forming 3 - 4 years ago. Combined...

    Australian Rugby Development Centre

Does anyone have a link to proposed plans and what the Development Centre will look like. Struggling to get an update though a chum of mine in the Woodies fraternity tells me that they need to bail out North Ryde RSL to the tune of a bar or so.

Rugby League players who could have/could make the switch

just found out the big fella was a Brumbies rep junior with a bright future. For anyone to say that we dont need 5 teams in Supe, this shows further evidence of the player drain we lose to the mungos at the lower age groups. I would dearly love to see the day when those fucking mungo swine stop...
