That is absolute rubbish. Just completely ridiculous. Have you actually watched him play this year? He's never had lightning top end pace, what he does have is phenomenal acceleration.

    He'd be a phenomenal scrumhalf.

    REBELS v CHIEFS Round 12

Scrum wasn't actually that bad. That period after half time wasn't tip top, but we still didn't get walked back over the line. A better loosehead than Henderson will make a real difference, Lahiff should help a lot in that regard.

At the moment I'd have him in on the wing although I suspect Deans will have him at flyhalf. He's a phenomenal runner of the ball in tight spaces as well as on the counter. Runs great lines, is a good defender, is getting better under the high ball and is absolutely fearless. Cool head under...

Being a bad drunk is a completely different issue to being alcoholic. We know he has issues when he drinks, we just don't know whether or not he's an alcoholic. Anyway, this is ground that's already been covered. I'm just happy he's playing again and starring.

    REBELS v CHIEFS Round 12

Jones had a big impact when he came on. Carried well, tackled well, secured the ball at the ruck properly. I'd like to see him starting next week with Saffy at openside. Hasn't been mentioned yet, but I think that was the best our lineout has ever been. Good work by all involved.

He is way, way, too good to be on the bench.

I am going to be seriously unhappy if Damien Hill stays. For all these close results, there are just so many fundamental things wrong with the way we play that we're never ever going to top the Australian conference if we keep going like this.

No. His pass is just atrocious. He had a good last 10 minutes, I'll give you that.

I'd still have him behind Horwill and Douglas, ahead of Simmons though. Had a huge game tonight.

I honestly don't care if he's drinking as long as he can stay skinny and keep playing like that. The interplay between him and JOC (James O'Connor) tonight... [/furious fapping]

    Must lock in Beale. Legend.

    Rebels 2013

From a Rebels perspective I am going to be seriously fucking unhappy if we lose Jones. However, I think his career will really take off playing under Cheika. He's basically a good version of Dennis so can absolutely see why the Tahs would want him.

    Rebels 2013

Fair. I still think guys like him are who we should be chasing though. Ath, good post - I don't entirely agree, but it's a good post. For me where JOC (James O'Connor) loses out to Quade is the intangibles, his stats might turn out slightly better but he rarely if ever gets the backline running as well as...

    Get rid of Phipps too.

Should have signed UJ Seuteni before the Reds got him.

Looks like this will be the starting XV. Like Wales, but better.

    Rebels 2013

Timani Jr. is a great get. A back row of Higgers - Fainga'a/Saffy - Timani in the last 15 minutes could be awesome. That's some immense ball-running ability.

    Rebels 2013

Now if Beale was to come back, hypothetically speaking, we could see a backline of Stirzacker Beale Vuna JOC (James O'Connor) Inman Situati/English/Mitchell Woodward Which would be by far the best backline we've ever put out.

PAE has been very good for us so far. He had a shocker yesterday but that'll happen. Got absolutely no help from Jones in the scrum either. There has to be some chat about Phipps now. I'd love to know what it is that gets him selected week after week after week. Either he's an absolute beast...
