    Waratahs 2011

I've seen this kid play over the last few years and have been impressed, particularly as he has made it all the way to the top of the Schoolboy tree from CSS. It would be good if Qld could give him something but with Cooper and Lucas in the main squad and Lance and Murphy (I think) in the...

As a Wallaby tourist last year, Morahan would have to be a chance as well.

    Brisbane prem final

19-11 was indeed the final score. Have to hand it to Sun Coast for staying in the game. I think they actually won the second half. The right team won on the day though. Uni have been dominant all season and deserved the premiership but Suncoast was in no way disgraced.

    Brisbane prem final

I'm going to be there as well, my Fathers Day request. I sincerely hope that Sunny Coast bring their A game and make a contest of it, but I can't see them beating a Uni side which is strong across the park. Uni will have to contain the No. 9 for Suncoast, he has been quite outstanding the...

As unaccustomed as I am to making speeches ...

What's the line from the Paul Kelly song? "From little things big things grow". Hard to believe it has been three years! Well played Scarfy, and everyone else (Gagger, Moses et al) who have been involved in creating and developing the globes pre-eminent rugby site, bar none.

Well who would have thought..Sunshine Coast into their first ever Grand Final. They won today's game out at Ballymore 20-15. Quite an entertaining game with two tries apiece, and the Suncoast fullback nailing a couple of important kicks. For Sunnybank Houston looked dangerous with ball in hand...

    2010 QLD Club Rugby

Well, after watching the games last week I was thinking SunCoast are a big chance to get over Sunnybank, however the latter will be much improved with Houston and a couple of others running out the rust. The problem I see for Sunnybank is they don't seem to have any attacking options that don't...

    2010 QLD Club Rugby

Well, too little too late for Easts unfortunately. 59-19 winners over a Will Genia led Norths but not enough on the for and against with both Brothers and Sunny Coast managing bonus point wins. Good effort by Easts all the same. They've been a fairly impressive outfit the last two weeks. Matt...

Also Seilala Lam is killing it at 6 for the Wicks, the next Rocky IMO Pretty handy schoolboy and tough as nails.

Does anyone have an idea of the injury lists at each of the clubs in the running for a top 4 spot? Could have a huge bearing on this weekend's games and the 3rd and 4th positions. I know Quirk and Bertini are out for Easts, to add to the guys who have been out for a while. Big losses. On...

Well WR (World Rugby), Uni will be at short odds to be in the big one. They look a cut above everyone else at the moment with class all the way through the team. Sunnybank might be a threat but would be more so if the likes of Ioane, Ben Lucas and Houston weren't injured and were available for the Finals...

    2010 QLD Club Rugby

Wow, what a logjam for the final two spots after yesterday's round! Uni and Sunnybank are confirmed for the top two spots but Brothers, Sunny Coast, Easts, Souths and GPS are all on 47 points with one round to go. The most interesting clash next week will be GPS v SunCoast with one of the teams...

    Wallabies team for next week?

If the props aren't going so well, why isn't Greg Holmes an option? Also Brown just doesn't look big enough for No. 8 duties. In Palu's absence I reckon Houston would be worth a go.

    Wallabies v All Blacks Melbourne

Mitchell's indiscretion after he had already been yellow carded was just plain dumb, dont know what he was thinking? Regardless, that didn't have a bearing on the game. The All Blacks seem to be in a league of their own at the moment. Great team to watch and a few of the older guys seem to have...

    Richie McCaw Cheat or genius

Agreed, he looked the absolute goods and as a few posters remarked, Larkham-esque. Beats me how he didn't make the 2007 schoolboys side. Not to the point but can NZ posters tell us the whereabouts of the NZ Schools 10. that year? I believe it was Frano Botica's son.

Well things are certainly heating up at the business end of the season. Uni are safe, and Sunnybank near as damn. Souths are pretty close, but anyone out of Brothers, Suncoast, GPS and Easts could nab the fourth spot. Been a great back end of the season from GPS to come into late...

    Suncorp Stadium Atmosphere Lacking

Being 'polite' and conservative, in comparison to other rugby following nation supporters, has always been the general go with Aussie Crowds. We have nothing that comes close to the hymns and songs that other nations have and the whole "Waltzing Matilda' thing was a little contrived IMO. There's...

    Wallabies v All Blacks Melbourne

With Nonu at 12 Barnes may well be the best defensive option at 12. They will interchange frequently though, I have no doubt.

    Wallabies v Springboks, Brisbane.

Is it because de Jongh is inexperienced? He's looked bloody good from what little I've seen of him.
