    The New Scrum Laws

I have been unusually bouyant since reading this news earlier today. I am sure this will make a positive impact. Anyone have any clips from the Pac Nations cup they can post here?

    Waratahs 2013

not really, if you don't fill the top tier then you don't have to staff it. if you get 10,000 tickets away at $5ea it would't pay for itself to open the rest of the ground, including security, cleaning vendors etc

Waratahs v. Kings Round 12 Sunday 1am EST

I would add to this Sergael Peterson only ever looked for the intercept, never to defend in the line. yes he scored the kings only try, but he let in at least 2 because he went for the ball, not the tackle

    Chances of making finals

Realistically the tahs 2014 season planning started after the canes. Had we beaten the cheetahs earlier and picked up a few more BPs it might be a different storey. But they didn't, and it isn't. The positive though is that since that loss the 2014 season is looking up.

    Force vs Reds - S15 Round 12 - 4 May 2013

Genia had better get used to being played off the ball, the Lions will do it all match.

    Waratahs 2014

Rugby Heaven reporting Jono Lance has signed a 2 year deal with the Tahs. http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-union/union-news/jono-lance-joins-nsw-waratahs-20130503-2iwl4.html a great pick up IMO

    Waratahs 2014

Re chapman: my view is that the scrum struggled a bit when he partnered one of the other locks. With Douglas and timani the scrum is dominant.

Waratahs v. Kings Round 12 Sunday 1am EST

I see this as an opportunity to cycle some players, maybe Kepu and Palu can start from the bench giving Cutch and Ryan a start, and give Skelton some time off the bench too. I'd also love lucas to start, and if there's any game then this is the one to do it in. the tahs need to look at using...

Bulls vs Waratahs - Super Rugby Rd11 2013

Tahs had an odd prep. Flew to joberg and trained there. Bussed into Pretoria on game day. Maybe they had better facilities? Maybe trying to create a home base? Maybe it's cheaper?

Bulls vs Waratahs - Super Rugby Rd11 2013

I thought at the time foley and mckibbin were pulled due to exhaustion. The lead up to the 3rd try was intense with a lot of end to end play.

    Waratahs 2014

Never heard if him. Watching highlights he looks big, but I also see he played 7s (with Bernard foley and pat mccutcheon!) Any one know any more?

Waratahs vs Chiefs Super Rugby Rd 10, Fri 19 April 2013

was just about to post that WorkingClassRugger. interesting how many players got personal best figures in defense this week, especially when noting Hooper was way down on his average tackles per game (7 this week, as opposed to average of 13/game) and how much better everyone says he played

    Wallaby wingers 2014

speight is a great replacement for Ioane, big, tackle busting and fast. I still think it's a shame he wont play for Fiji, they need all the stars they can get.

Is it time to change the name of the Waratahs?

also, lets not forget that a rebranding of the scale required to rename the waratahs would likely run into the millions, which the NSWRU just couldn't fund

Is it time to change the name of the Waratahs?

Stands I disagree with the comment about the Wanderers being a fan success because of the name. From what I know of the team set up and fan base it was a targeted "this is your team, not that other sydney team that is based in the east and don't care about you westies" campaign that built their...
