    Wallabies 2023

How many fucking times do we need to go over this- Kerevi is not under contract to Rugby Australia - it was completely his decision to pursue 7s.

How many games did QC (Quade Cooper) play on the European tour?

Why are we blaming RUPA? Are they demanding too much money for the players they represent?

Chill Marce - Rugby Australia hasn’t been paying his bills either - it’s been the Japanese club that he signed for (I’m not sure if he’s been properly released at this point in time). Either way there’s been delicacy in the negotiations to ensure that he’s available for the Wallabies. Allowing...

    Wallabies 2023

You're right in the sense that Marcus Smith didn't have the strongest series (especially in the first two games) and as a result was derided by the English press especially for his lack of combination with Farrell and general defence. However there was a key difference between the Lolesio and...

    Wallabies 2023

We haven’t had a fly-half with any vision or real game management skills since King Quade. JOC (James O'Connor), Lolesio and Hodge have all very much been ‘structure‘ players.

Yep his skill set would translate fantastically to Union- could also be an option at fullback. It could just be the headgear (it probably is) but theres almost a Larkham-esque vibe there.

Australia v England: Match III, SCG, Sat 16th July 7.55pm AEST

I think we get more out of Quade against team like Argentina then we do from Kerevi..

Australia v England: Match III, SCG, Sat 16th July 7.55pm AEST

You have a point here - attacking teams should be rewarded and given benefit of the doubt. Those stats also suggested that we were fairly dominant in that game and really needed to ice those opportunities.

Lolesio and Hodge have been given a pretty easy ride by most on this forum but I thought both were pretty anonymous during the game. Lolesio has basically had three successive games in the ten jersey and I don’t think he’s shown any improvement over that time. Our attack has been clunky and...

Hey mods can you do everyone a favour and sit down Rebel man and Shiggins for a few weeks? Their constant bitching about the referee was embarrassing and they contributed nothing of substance. Its fine/ funny when Shiggins does it for the Force in games/ forums that no one watches but not on...

What rugby needs to do to get back to its roots and entertain customers.

Completely agree however you know with England and Ireland winning, World Rugby will be even less inclined to make any changes and heads will remain in the sand. They need to speed up the game, bring fatigue into so that proper footballers can take advantage. I honestly can’t watch a game live...

Australia v England: Match III, SCG, Sat 16th July 7.55pm AEST

Rennie has had a very distinct role for blindside flankers since he’s taken over the Wallabies. He’s preferred them to be strong lineout options and able to dominate collisions in tight mostly running directly off the halfback. This role has suited Swinton and Leota who are bigger bodies. Harry...

I generally agree with most of your views on rugby BR but the call to completely drop Hooper just seems unnecessarily contrarian. You know he’s not going to be dropped and I think you know he doesn’t deserve to either. He’s not the biggest guy on the field but how many international teams have...

Australia v England: Match II @ Suncorp 7.55pm AEST, 09/07

This is a terrible take. He didn’t have his strongest game but I’m not sure his captaincy was particularly poor at all. We were coming home with a wet sail until our set piece fell to shit at the end- it was execution not leadership. I’m not going to comment on the hypocrisy of someone on a...

Australia v England: Match II @ Suncorp 7.55pm AEST, 09/07

I know this won’t go down well on this forum but I still think that again we used Kerevi too much especially off first phase. I appreciate that he has upskilled significantly with his kicking game but I still think we should be looking to involve the other backs more often.

Australia v England: Match II @ Suncorp 7.55pm AEST, 09/07

The bloke was dangerous because naturally he’s an outside back and always has been. His move to fly half has always been a little manufactured to extend his career as his athleticism has waned. Maybe he should just be considered outside back coverage?
