I guess the National 7s is a start. It would be good to see it get some recognition. Perhaps that will occur over the next week or so. It would be good to know who is playing etc

I actually heard a whisper that it was 10s digital channel - that is consistent with the latest ARU announcement about the extended Broadcast rights and Channel 10 having an involvement in that. Either way, just hope we get it on the box.

I think they could have added either Toa Asa or Tristan Goodbody over Clay Brodie - Clay goes well however doesn't seem fit - he played a lot of 2s this year

Country did well today. I liked the performances of nearly all the Backs especially Carraro, Mafu & Ford. Thought Ala'alatoa went well in the Pigs. Wouldn't get too carried away with the result today as the Eastwood Rams did come off a week of Grand Final winning celebrations. Funny about that...

Thanks George - maybe Queensland may have more opportunity for aspiring Wicks players than other States -just like the Brumbies once was. love the irony in that. Your comments regarding strength of the competitions is also very relevant given NRC selections.

I agree. The wicks in current shape would not be appropriate for the NRC. If the country eagles can start a team from scratch so could the wicks if they so desired.
