100% agree Reg and I thought there were some terrific efforts out their tonight. Wilson & McReight outstanding as always but also some guys like Blyth, Nonggorr & Faessler. Still though - can’t help but be disappointed. Just little errors or soft turnovers at bad times really hurt them.

The last one was fair enough. Even if they hadn’t scored the try the penalty against Zander was obvious. The Reds did some really good things but also just made some basic mistakes at times when they needed composure.

Yeah - I try not to say too much about refs. I don’t think he has been as bad as Williams v the Rebels last week but this is pretty hard to take.

Except that only about 35 players play for the Reds and plenty of the players I really enjoy watching are neither Reds nor Wallabies. Quite a few are All Blacks and some of them don’t have the playing ability if Aaron Smith.

I think you’re being very generous to the defender Dan. I thought his tackle technique definitely put Flook in a dangerous position beyond the horizontal, well in the air. The only saving grace was that Flook was able to control his landing. I’ve seen cards for far less.

Can’t say I agree at all. Either with your thoughts on how we were going before or after Wilson came on. To point the blame on a guy who wasn’t missing the tackles, wasn’t dropping the ball and who was creating space in the opposition defence line seems extremely harsh to me. I’ll leave it at that.
