    Rugby Championship 2012: Our Backline

Fainga'a/Horne/Tapuai/McCabe/Ashley-Cooper at outside center. We are still trying to replace Mortlock by the looks of things!

    Wallabies versus Wales- SFS

Hooper's inclusion confuses me. Yes he brings impact, but he comes on at #6? Dennis is a six, and a bloody good one, and you'd want Higginbotham and Pocock on for the 80minutes. It does not make sense, like most of what Deans does, it does not make sense.

    Wallabies versus Wales- SFS

Timani? Really? Can't complain with the rest, poor Mike Harris, kicks winning goal and gets dropped. But fair enough call, we don't need two centers on the bench, and now with Beale back he can cover 10 and goal kicking

We'll always have Paris... Dean's selection 'loyalty' - shortsighted?

JOC (James O'Connor) on the bench? Really? He is the most all-round most talented backline player we have (maybe not infront of Genia).

We'll always have Paris... Dean's selection 'loyalty' - shortsighted?

I've been pondering what our best fully fit backline is and what one Deams will pick for the 4N. Personally I think.... 9-Genia 10- Cooper 11-Ioane 12- O'Connor 13- McCabe/Fainga'a/Horne 14- Mitchell 15- Beale But reality is we are likely to see JOC (James O'Connor) on the wing and McCabe at 12.

    Western Force 2013

I was thinking the other day whatever happened to this guy. He was a Wallaby starter at one point. Good to see him back.

    Argentina

For those interested, Canada vs Italy over the weekend. Tight match, 11,000 crowd aswell. Good for Canadian rugby. And also the highlights of Fiji vs Scotland [

    Wallabies versus Wales- SFS

I've said this on the past 3 match threads, but it is beyond stupid that we do not have a specialist lock on the bench. What happens if Sharpe does not continue for the Four Nations? We have no Horwill? Simmons has been average. What if there is an injury (touch wood)? Pyle and Douglas look ripe...

    Qld Premier Rugby 2012

From memory it was Stollberg, Ready, Fuller, Brandon and Skelton, so 5.

What is with the locations for domestic Rugby Championship games?

I think it is because there aren't many Argentines in Australia, hence th smaller Gold Coast Stadium and playing South Africa in Perth because of the Saffa ex-pats. All for the revenue mate.

    Argentina

Man that sucks, Argentina's jersey had that traditonal look to it, I liked it.

    2023 & 2027 World Cup Bids

Don't get me started on the Football World Cups, so much bribery it is a disgrace. Also Bardon I do agree with the potential of many countries for Union development. I think it is already happening to an extent in the Western countries such as Georgia, Romania and Russia playing more games and...

    Argentina

I assume they are resting all their major European players and building some depth before the 4Nations. I only recognized 5 or so names. This along with the success of the Argentine u20's is vital for the Pumas because currently there is a large age gap between their experienced top class...

G&GR Wallaby Player of the Year: v WAL (2st test)

    3- Pocock 2- Barnes 1- Ioane

    Reds 2013

I think it's fair, it's better all round for Australian rugby. I look forward to seeing the Rebels as a finals challenger in the coming years. I'm just amazed we have managed to keep Quade, Genia and Taps. Means alot of other players must of accepted limited offers for us to stay under the cap.

    Qld Premier Rugby 2012

I counted only 4 players who'd be starting if we had a full strength side, and they got up by a few points!. Great result, proud of my Tigers

Wallabies vs Wales - Suncorp Stadium June 9

Ahhh nothing beats some Spongebob at 2am when you come home drunk as a skunk........

Wallabies vs Wales - Docklands Stadium June 16

I'm worried what state Barnes will be in when he gets to the game, he will be physically and mentally exhausted. Bit of a worry when he is the chief playmaker.

Reds v Hurricanes: June 15: Sunshine Coast

I'm with Spectator, that Canes side looked alot stronger then ours. No suprise that our strongest players were our Super Rugby backrowers and hooker.
