    Thoughts on Folau to rugby

He did say last night that he'd announce his future in the next 2 weeks so either way we'll know by the time the RC rolls around.

    Thoughts on Folau to rugby

To be honest I got a totally different impression I think he is just a shy bloke in general who doesn't like the limelight(I've had this opinion since meeting him at the start of the year), added to that Cheika has confirmed he agreed terms with the Tahs a while ago and most of the reports...

    Waratahs 2014

Whilst that backline looks awesome, it still lacks a 85-90% goal kicker, Beale and Foley are probably 75% at best and I think unless they do a massive amount of practice over the off season we could find ourselves in a similar ladder position next season. He had to declare for the Wallabies...

    Thoughts on Folau to rugby

Is this leagues last play for him? Probably too late to influence a deal now, but could make his next contract negotiations interesting. What the mungos probably don't realise is that they'll probably be competing with French and Japanese clubs who wouldn't hesitate to throw $2million a season...

    Waratahs V Reds July 13 2013

There was a bit of wink wink nudge nudge going on last night, but he said his future will be sorted within the next two weeks. When he was asked if he was staying with the Tahs he let out a big smile which I took as he is but I'm sure league will try and make a desperate last play for him.

    Lions Tour 2013

A superb kangaroo court story from the tour http://www.thescore.ie/zebo-munster-captain-987132-Jul2013/ Simon Zebo asked Rob Penney to make him Munster captain

    Waratahs V Reds July 13 2013

To be honest given how bad Barnes' kicking has been I'd prefer that he isn't at full back kicking away turn over ball. His best performances this year have been at 12, albeit mostly off the bench, so to be honest I'm happy enough to have him there.

    Waratahs 2014

So we can take from Izzy on Rugby HQ tonight that he is signing for us for at least next season?

    Waratahs V Reds July 13 2013

Most of our best play has come from Foley getting the ball to our back 3 as quickly as possible, yes Izzy isn't there but I still think that backline is going to cause the Reds a lot of problems of set piece and turn over ball. Lets not forget some of the awesome attacking work they did against...

Summer Rugby in Europe; NH + SH seasons aligned; World Club Championship?

I'd think this would be a step in the right direction, but I'd prefer that the Heineken Cup and first half of domestic leagues are played in tandem with the Super 15, then July Tests, then 6 nations and RC run in tandem with domestic leagues/competitions resuming. A break for the finals of the...

Competition - Link's top priority with the Wallabies

Link has two equal top priorities, a kicking coach and a scrum coach however I'm going to go slightly against the grain and say that a kicking coach is more of a priority. If the goal is winning the World Cup a world class kicking game is crucial. The Wallabies would have won the Lions series...

Barnes and Timani are back for this one. Barnes to 15 and Skelton to drop to the bench for Timani I assume.

    Lions Tour 2013

You did watch the second test? You thought those tactics were the way to go? As for the selection of Phillips you thought that was a good one? You really thought the approach to that Brumbies game was good? I'd called for Faletau to start for most of the tour. It isn't a case of Wales bad...

    Ewen McKenzie: Wallaby Coach

Think that this is a great move for the Wallabies, Link is just the guy that they need right now. There are a lot of big calls needed in the back line in particular, and the culture needs improvement talent alone isn't enough as Gary Player said "the more I practise the luckier I get." Most...

    Lions Tour 2013

Still feeling hungover from Saturday, great day. Alex Corbiserio has to be the man of series, there was a huge shift in momentum from when he went off in Brisbane to coming back on Saturday, the Lions probably couldn't believe their luck that they got Roman Poite to referee either. Makes the...
