I'd be surprised if Quade runs around tomorrow - you just wouldn't risk him running out in a trial match like this. I wouldn't roll him out until a week or two before season proper. He's never had any problems with his conditioning and he has more talent in his toe nail than the average...

    Reds 2018

If you believe that Carozza doesn't have a say on who comes through from school boys to the Reds you are kidding yourself - nice bloke apparently & great wallaby/red in his day but the results don't lie and he needs to take some responsibility.

    Reds 2018

I tend to disagree. We develop the talent but we don't seem to keep the right ones e.g. Poecock, McMahon, Mason, etc The old conundrum of coach v player. Coach always lose. Here's a thought now if we go back through the coaches (excl. McKenzie) - Mooney, Graham, Stiles & now we are including...

Massive ins for GPS their ball running was almost unstoppable when they were both at GPS previously.

Lance would look good in a Wests jersey. Would he have played for the Reds when Phil Mooney was coach? I think he may have been after Phil. I tend to agree with Lance @ Uni - I can't see Lucas, Toua or Lance playing for anyone other than their former clubs. Interesting to see how much time...

Interesting the old guard in QPR potentially the following will all run out against Quade(Souths): Lucas(Snbk); Lance(Uni); & Toua(Easts). Wouldn't be surprised though if Lance pops up at Bond.

See that Reds have continued the trend of briniging guys back to the Reds in signing Aidan Toua will be interesting to see how they use him or whether he spends time in QPR.

Gee Bond have really close ties with ARU coaching structure e.g. Rod Kafer, Adrian Thompson, etc They may become disliked as a result.

    QLD Premier Rugby 2018

This is interesting on three fronts: 1. Seib - great to have him back involved in QPR; 2. Hedger - has he delivered what the Bond Board wanted - have they got value for money? 3. Thompson - apart from '99 at Easts when he inherited their '97 side he really hasn't delivered success in any...

The 2018 draw has been released but I haven't been able to get a copy as yet. I think there are two rounds before Easter.

I am really hoping that Wests can be up there again in 2018 but cognisant that clubs aren't always on a continuous improvement trajectory despite best intentions and they were aided by Easts falling out of finals contention in 2017.

Maybe Sam Cordingley needs a performance based contract!! Great player in his day but jury still very much out in terms of the recruitment and eye for talent stakes. Mind you he's been great in terms of his unofficial role for recruitment at Crosby Road. It's amazing how the Tongan Thor...

With Gilmour's appointment as Aust U20 coach does anyone think we might see greater QPR exposure for the U20 players? My beef is that they get wrapped in cotton wool when they should be simply playing rugby - I don't think the Kiwi lads get put in cotton wool.

By my calculations that means that the QRU is either paying out or paying dead wages for Nick Stiles, Nick Frisby & Quade Cooper in 2018. Just what an organisation that's watching every dollar needs

Goodbye Quade but maybe if the Reds had kept Mack Mason and given him a full season of QPR he'd be right to go for the Reds in 2018!!!

Well done QC (Quade Cooper) on securing Qld's 3rd NRC title in 4 years. There was a very QPR flavour for the final last night with Damon Murphy & Jordan Way as TJs and Muirhead, Banks, Sampson involved with the Vikings.
