    Fixed that for you.

Wallabies Squad - the Link Era

I like Cummins, I do. I just don't think he's so good as to be the unanimous pick that he apparently is. Personally I'd have Mogg over him at the moment, with Crawford and Betham about on the same level. Would have him ahead of Tomane and Morahan though.

    Yeah, he was fine.

Wallabies Squad - the Link Era

It's the interviews do it I reckon. He runs straight and hard and then spills the ball. He's a pretty good player and a top bloke. There's no way he's one of the two best wingers in Australia.

Wallabies Squad - the Link Era

How has everyone settled on Cummins? He's a slightly above average winger with below average hands at Soup level. Played a couple of decent Tests on last years EOYT but that's about it.

    Rebels 2014

What brave face? He's a shockingly limited player. Can barely pass left-to-right, has a kicking game that could charitably be described as rudimentary and I don't think I've ever seen him pass further than 10 metres. But hey, it seems he's a winner despite his deficiences. Which kind of has a...

    Rebels 2014

Touching as the concern from oop norf is, the Rebels have won every single game Hegarty has started at 10. I think we'll be okay.

Why on earth would we sign Benji? Makes absolutely zero sense for anyone. As for Inman at 12... I think he gives us what we've been looking forward with Sidey. He shores up the inside channels on defence, straightens the attack and draws a couple of defenders pushing forwards. English has...

daz As the numero uno Mitch Inman fanboi, your thoughts on him having a bash at 12 next year?
  10. Dumbledore

    Rebels 2014

Can't agree with that. Our strategy this year, when it has appeared, seems to be not dissimilar to League. Bash it up the middle then chuck it wide and hope someone can win a one-on-one contest out wide. I'm sure he's a nice guy, but he's just not up to this level yet.

    Rebels 2014

I will lose my shit completely if we let him slide through the cracks. He simply must start next year.

    Rebels 2014

Because we're still conceding 30+ points a game and a lot of the fundamental skills and systems are just horrible. As good as the second half against the Highlanders was, the first was just appalling. Over committing to rucks, then flinging the ball out wide to isolated attackers, get turned...

    Rebels 2014

Don't think that's quite true. His carrying doesn't seem to be quite as effective when he starts, he makes just as many carries as he has been coming off the bench - but he doesn't get nearly as many metres so it doesn't look as dramatic. He plays very tight for a 6, hits a lot of rucks and...

I'd like to see: Lahiff, Horie, Weeks Pyle, Neville Jones, Fainga'a, Higginbotham (C) Stirzaker, Hegarty Inman, English Kingston, Woodward, Situati PAE, Smith, Leafa/Sexton, Reid, Timani, Burgess, Mitchell, Roberts Depth at flyhalf looks very shaky. Need someone at 12 too.

    Rebels 2014

It was more that Roberts went off and stopped spudding the entire place up. He's a very lucky boy to have a contract for next year, looks completely out of his depth. That and Jones came on and started beasting the entire game and got the rest of the forwards on the front foot.

    Rebels v Highlanders Rd 20

Can't agree with that. Pyle, yes, but not Jones. He regularly hits more rucks than anyone else at the club, while topping the tackle count too. He naturally plays a very tight game. Only in the last couple of games - the Lions and now the Highlanders - does he seem to have taken his running game...

    Rebels v Highlanders Rd 20

Yep. Simply immense game. Did more in 30 minutes than Pyle and Neville did all match. There is no way we would have won without him. And to think Vuna got MotM...

JOC (James O'Connor) was very good, Jones was head and shoulders the best on the park though - even if he did only have 30 minutes or whatever it was. Ridiculous that Neville is starting over him. Great finish to the season, great to see Delve and the others go out on a high.

    Ewen McKenzie: Wallaby Coach

Slightly left field, but when Higgers gets un-broken he might be an option. Thought he was an absolutely outstanding captain for the Rebels - despite winning all of what, three games? Otherwise I wouldn't mind seeing it go to Mowen.

    Rebels 2014

Well, the two seasons he played at 12 for the Force when he was a better player than Taps is now. I don't think he's potentially a better 10 than Cooper, I never have. A safer one maybe, but certainly not better. I'm agreeing you wouldn't want JOC (James O'Connor). There's a reason why everyone is dusting...
