No Friday night games for the Tahs in 2015. Apparently their crowds are always smaller on a Friday night but I actually prefer heading from a boozy Friday lunch to the pub and then stagger pole-axed to the game. By 10 pm crashy is usally battle worn and ready for ni-nies to wake up fresh on...

yes Jarse I am referring to that case and in no way am I trying to score points as some of the detail of the case make me feel sick. To be fao the Terrorgraph has gone on the front foot today which will rightly give it some air and hopefully ensure it doesnt happen again. He bashed her head...

Just sit back and watch yet another league atrocity play out. This domestic violence story is disturbing. maybe just once the mungo public may be disgusted - probably not but you never know.

    Dwyer Looking To Buy Waratahs

Today’s article in the AFR discussed the following.. Pet Resorts owner (David Levy?) has withdrawn his bid which I think we knew. Negotiations with ANZ consortium still ongoing No mention of Dwyer but said they are still in negotiations with a ‘few’ parties Heads of agreement cut off by end of...

    The Pulverisation of Australian Rugby

Pretty sure the TV rights are $25 million per year of which $10 million is sold to Channel 10 (by Fox). Reds will post yet another profit this year of circa $500k ( they have posted millions over the last few years which is awesome). Tahs are rumoured to post circa $1 million this year meaning...

When the Tahs won the SupeRugby final this year, for some reason Buzz Rothfield called it a lowlight of the weekend and he was glad it was over. Still seething at an unnecessary cheap shot that simply adds fuel to my lifelong desire to see the end of mungo.

yeah I heard Ginnane say that as well. All in all his comments re Cheika and the Wallabies were positive but his comments re Folau re borne out of ignorance as I doubt he's seen the plays that set-up his try, and he'd just seen the highlights and made his own conclusion. To be fair the Rush Hour...

    The Pulverisation of Australian Rugby

Very interesting read in the Fin review today. Now Fox Sports are rumoured to be paying more for their share of the rights in a deal that is 'imminent'. Add the foreign deal and the ARU are looking at $40 per year which is an extra $15 mil. Thoughts are that the 5 Soup clubs get an extra $1...

    The Templeton Cup

I'd love to see a full house for the Reds game next season and with some of the recruits the banjo-players have signed, combined with the growing Tahs fanbase, we should expect 40k. The tahs are also playing against the Brumbies at the SFS and its an arvo game as well which will see a big crowd...

Jeez the mungo press in the SMH are starting to bug me. Walter today again has been sprouting off about how International league is booming. He then has the temerity to say that if they concoct some bastardised conglomerate Pacifika team and entered it in the NRL, without any thought to...

    Sydney Subbies 2014

I remember playing in the mid 90s after they'd been punted to 6th div and had 1 team. It would be an absolute travesty to shut them down and would further convince me that subbies are not in the business of growing the game. Fine the B@stards enough so it hurts and helps the bottom line of subbies.

    NRC Crowd Watch

Coming from NSW I think I agree. They need 3 teams max. Randwick and Easts either sort your shit out or piss off. Rays could have another club join as injuries started to kick in.
