    RWC: Pool C - Wallabies v Fiji - Monday 18 Sep 2am AEST

Big losses always seems to bring out the lunatics around here.

    RWC Pool C - Australia v Wales - 5AM 25 Sep AEST

You forgot the occasional run from Marky Mark (Nawaqanitawase) off the nine, where he beats 12 tackles for a net gain of 1m.

Have you actually watched any of the recent games? We kick more than we ever had in the past,(and we even have a player solely picked for his goalkicking) certainly more than Fiji who we just lost to. This isn’t a team playing the old ‘run it from everywhere mantra’

    Wallabies 2023

Can we have a poll on whether we think this forum was more hysterical after this loss or the one against Italy last year?

    Wallabies 2023

Picked Quade, Hooper, Ikitau and Holloway. The guys who were around about a year ago, when we were winning games.

    RWC Pool C - Australia v Wales - 5AM 25 Sep AEST

People need to be careful: we replace Gordon with Donaldson, and we go entirely into kick-bot mode. Donaldsons game is standing deep, shoveling on the ball but primarily kicking. It might result in less mistakes but it comes at the cost of a lot of attacking threat.

    RWC: Pool C - Wallabies v Fiji - Monday 18 Sep 2am AEST

Fundamentally untrue, we’ve completely changed a game plan to kick first (or at least kick after 3-4 phases) and it’s not working. Our shape in attack is abysmal and we’re not creating opportunities. These are all coaching decisions. We were down by 7 and there were 4 minutes left in the game...

Yep time to sit Rebel man down for a while.

    Wallabies 2023

I’m not belittling it at all- I’m trying to provide a little bit of perspective- his motm award didn’t come from his attacking flair; it came from a strong rounded performance (basically good kicking in general play and at goal).

    Wallabies 2023

He had a strong game against Georgia, where he was put under very little pressure- let’s not blow a gasket. He now has back that up again (and again). Cooper and Foley are not great comparisons, as while they are/were defensively poor, they always stood out with the ball at Super Rugby.

    Wallabies 2023

So he ran two supporting lines with no one on front of him to beat and now he’s some great attacking threat?

    Wallabies 2023

Reece Hodge and Ben Donaldson must be the absolute best blokes.

    Western Force 2024

Obviously they don’t produce many players but that’s not the point of the Western Force so this whole thing is a little weird. They are a professional team in a non-rugby geography meant to grow the game domestically and provide an opportunity for professional players (from anywhere). If they...

    Wallabies 2023

It would be entertaining to watch a professional player respond to some that ‘analysis’. Anway he has his niche and following so good on him.

    Wallabies 2023

Rugby is undoubtedly complicated any many areas, however this notion of ‘total rugby’ being unque is complete rubbish. It’s just increasing skill sets across the player base more eyes up footy can be played when warranted.

    Squidge talks so much shit.

    Western Force 2024

Why does any of the above actually matter? Do the Melbourne Storm, Sydney Roosters or New Orleans Pelicans actually produce players. This is the reality of professional sport.

    Western Force 2024

This is professional sport - ‘stole’ - are you okay?

    Australian Rugby / RA

This isn't (really) a personal stab - but KOB (aka Kings Old Boys) probably means a pretty certain 'circle'. The game is being kept alive by a generation of old boys, who loved the game, and have encouraged their kids to play (who don't love it as much by the way). Outside of certain...
