The best thing is they aren't looking at investing in property and staff, overhead costs that will kill it. They are going to hold events at the Alliance and will bring back the Penfolds Lunches at the Qld Cricketers Club. I like that $20 from your membership fee goes to a nominated club.

I was a bit sceptical initially as opening up a club is a great way to loose money. After reading the blog post though I think it's a good idea. Lets hope people get behind it and they can do some good things for rugby at a grassroots level.

Taps has played 10 club and U20's level. I would have thought he would have been a better option than Frisby. I think Frisby would have been a better option at 15.

It's interesting that people think Matty Taylor would walk away from Scotland after the 6 Nations. I would have thought he'd want to stay with them for the RWC. That could rule him out but I'm sure if the Reds wanted him then he could be back in November.

I think if he goes then the viewing public will be much more forgiving of what happens here on in. As long as we see some improvement then people will stay behind the team.
