I hope he realises he wont be eligible for 1st XV this year.

in 2013 BBC had a number 'profile' forwards who would stand-off at the breakdown and expect others to do the clean-out. Both TSS and Terrace exposed them on this. Interesting to see how they go this year.

Most of the time things like this are an excuse, it's not as though he can play in the CC Cup from Auckland!

Yes, it would be hard to pass over players returning for a second (or in one case, third) year in 1st's, especially since BBC had a strong side in 2012. No doubt Edwards will have first shot at wing and Wilkins in centre. There will be many players who in past years would have been a walk-in on...

    Probably just being hopeful.

True TSS deserve to be considered a premiership threat simply due to the strength of their rugby program. An interesting season ahead: I' leaning to 1. NC 2. BBC 3. ACGS 4. TSS 5. Terrace 6. BGS 7. TGS 8. IGS 9. BSH NC have rights to #1 due to their clinical consistency. I think they have...

A year older, bigger, wiser and stronger- you're kidding yourself if you don't think they will be a better pack than last year.

Swain is 6' 7'', Leyland is the small lock at 6' 6"!! BBC forwards were big enough last year- just ask Grammar and their non-contested scrum episode- they will be very strong this year. I heard Swain (lock 1st XV 2013) has been doing serious off-season work. I believe they have picked up a...

Not just BBC's centres, their whole forward pack will have quality reserves on the bench. It will be interesting to see how the front row pans out with the new recruits and, if the rumour is true, Bronson out: Peterson at 3 back for his third year in the 1st XV should be able to secure the...

I believe BBC have a few forwards in for their 3rd year in 1st XV.??

Should fit in well at BBC- leadership potential.

Positions? I'm guessing a back, because BBC's forward stocks are pretty strong.

I believe that Freddie D, who played wing and fullback, as well as 'PJ', who played at 6: are in Yr 11 this year.

BBC 2013- keeping to game plan was a problem as well as a few hot and cold players. However, the players remaining have a good work rate and given the talent coming through from the strong u16, 2nds and undefeated u15's ... for the first time in living memory BBC may have depth enough for the...

BBC Forwards will be the pack to watch in 2014. 1/2/3. L/H will be contested and the only real question. Lazarus played 16 A's? - off season will be critical, the boy who wants it most will probably get it. If Takipula returns, he and Peterson will be in 3rd Yr of 1st XV!! 4/5 Take your pick...

The scrum wont an issue for BBC in 2014, they more than held their own against TSS on the weekend, in fact they often got the shove on the older TSS scrum on Saturday. BBC's 16's front row and 2nd's front row (Lazarus and Kahn) have been strong this year and Peterson will be for his third (!)...

BBC 1st XV positions are going to be hotly contested in 2014. The current u15's will have to step over BBC's current strong u16 team AND the bulk of the strong 2013 1st XV are returning. Most of BBC's 1st choice run on 1st XV 2013 forward pack are returning in 2014, some of them will be in...

I From memory BBC went down to Nudgee by 11, but it was 4 with two minutes to go: if a BBC pass in their own had stuck they may have won, instead Nudgee intercepted, scored and converted. How often does one pass or one kick change a whole season!- gotta love rugby.
