At the pub where I watched the games, there was a healthy number of people watching all the RWC games. On the Saturday, there was only a few screens with the League and they were the most sparsely populated areas of the pub. Admittedly the pub was in a more traditional Rugby than League area...

Is it just me, or is some of the advertising hoarding a little closer the the field of play in some of these games?? Apart from reducing the opportunities for quick line-outs, wouldn't it be a little dangerous?

Perhaps he meant that Channel 9's coverage of the Rugby World Cup is a joke. Don't think there would be too many people disagreeing with that.

According to the ABC QC (Quade Cooper) has been cleared. I hope some of the senior players get in his ear (and some of the other players) and tell him to pull his head-in. He is too good and talented a player (and I think he is still developing) to do that stuff and be remembered for it.
