    Reds 2013

Yeah! How dare young people have fun & muck around! Don't they realise life is serious business and who needs mates, they'll just lead you astray. Especially those AFL types. And stay off of my lawn ya little louts!!

Reds v Force, Super Rugby Round 5, 2013

I reckon Frisby will be on the bench rather than Toua, he can cover wing as well.

Reds v Force, Super Rugby Round 5, 2013

d That's true, but the trick is stopping him ;-) CFS or Morahan or even Davies come to mind as replacements. What they lose with Digby they gain something different from any of those guys.

Reds v Force, Super Rugby Round 5, 2013

That game hurt! However the team has a proper flyhalf this time round...

    Reds 2013

Geez this rolled ankle must have been a lot more sinister than they originally thought. Would be good to get some info out of Reds headquarters on it.

    ^ Just pathetic really......

Reds v Force, Super Rugby Round 5, 2013

^ Check out Frisby's try, including the couple of phases before & you'll see WTF why they look better with Ant back. This is just one example of many throughout the game, including some great defense. SOmetimes a great pass, like the one from JOC (James O'Connor) for Mitchell's try are nigh in indefensible.

You bloody beauty! Hopefully Big Jimmy Horwill isn't too far away either.

    Reds 2013

Do you always get sucked in by the sensational headline of a story & not read further? Assisting, questioned and however else you want to put it still does not mean he was directly involved nor does it mean he's a suspect. The article would suggest he was just there, with his brother & was a...

    Reds 2013

I'll take that suggestion on board, but still come to the same conclusion.

    Reds 2013

The underlying sentiments in your post suggest otherwise..... but whatever.

    Reds 2013

Allegedly, you're pretty quick to point fingers Slim  At this stage it just says he was there with one of his relo's who was involved in an altercation...... There is no guilt by association.
  13. Penguin

    Reds 2013

Hopefully not a lot in it. Diggers doesn't even drink does he? Also no indication that he was involved in the alleged assault in that article, just that he was there & is assisting police.....

    Rebels v Reds RD 4 2013

So you guys think that a Rebel deserves MoM over one of the Reds boys who won quite convincingly? Interesting.... is one way to put it. I'd say Gill, both Faingaas & Ioane all put forth cases before a member of the losing side. I'd plump for Gill.

    Rebels v Reds RD 4 2013

I'm pretty sure there is no double movement law in Rugby, he definitely should have just reached the ball out over the line, it was all but scored!

The dying - perhaps death - of Rugby in Australia.

That's a pretty accurate synopsis Elfster.

    Rebels v Reds RD 4 2013

Too much whining about the referee here. It's very poor form. The ref didn't lose the game for the Rebels, the Reds were in control for most of the game. He made bad calls for both sides & made some good calls to,as is the case in most games. I have no idea how much experience this particular ref...

The dying - perhaps death - of Rugby in Australia.

Hahah no Hugh, if I have to go I'll make it to the nearest convenience, but I'll hang on till a break in play if I can! The media hype with the league is so construed & feels so fake I'm surprised the general public can't see right through it.... but then I guess show's like A Current Affair &...

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Those are good points Fatprop, but a good highlights package at a decent time would go a long way to getting the sport into the laymans minds. Growing up there was always a 6 nations game on free to air & in the early Super incarnations there was always a highlights show of at least one of the...

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Not everyone can or wants to afford to pay for Foxtel, just for the Rugby. A lot of punters are missing the opportunity to watch the game because it's exclusive to Fox.
