what says any of these players (or their parents) haven't already graciously declined expressions of interest without making a song and dance about it. Or using it as political leverage. There just might be some old fashioned dignity and loyalty still around. If they haven't told you yet don't...

    ISA Rugby 2013

With the two biggest contributing teams of 2012 in Oak Hill and St Augies loosing the bulk of their forwards last year there may be a bit of a lag in depth this year. This is backed up by the numbers of backs and forwards trying out for the 16s that are already playing 1st XV for their schools...

Brains Trust Said "feed back on Knox v Barker 16's on Saturday. apparently Harry Chapman (flanker/ JGS) Knox was outstanding in the game..he could be in the frame for schools or SJRU if form holds up..anyone else stand out?" What Junior club does he play for to make him available for SJRU...

Welcome Coach Carter and Sergeant Fanny "I'm unaware of the student himself, although i am sure he would have to be a big contender for that no.12 spot in ISA 1st XV" and Pity that such a talented player may miss out on a chance for rep honours. This is a most bizarre collection of posts for a...

There was an explanation here briefly, (W. did you think twice or was it removed ?) but you had to be quick as that bus too has gone from what I understand there are more juniors in Warringah and Manly than a lot of other parts of Sydney . . When I did my apprenticeship up on the peninsular...

Huge answered this in the GPS thread New vs The Bye was one of the most outstanding match reports. Sad to see them relegated to ISA. I think they will maintain their consistent performance there. The ISA is an inferior comp clearly as playing in this comp is "relegation". either that or he is...

If a bye is worth the same as a forfeit 28-0 it wont loose by as much as a few teams from this comp have to ISA teams over the past few years. But it will keep turning up for the next game

    ISA Rugby 2013

The ISA does appear to be an open and progressive association, as opposed to the the original association and the other exclusive association that was set up because they were not allowed to play with the older kids, it doesn't seem to be as impressed by the smell of its own farts. hopefully...

Was quoting Brains Trust My understanding of up-skilling (aside from being a rubbish bit of weasel wording) was to train what you had, going shopping I am sure would have a completely different weasel word.

" I am also sympathetic with their concept of the Kings School as a Suburb - it must be daunting to drive past all those western suburbs houses, wondering which of their inmates 'Works for Father'. don't go upsetting the matriarchs now, some of them don't like that sought of talk

It seems most of the last years NSW backs have found their way to AAGPS institutions. I would imagine they will be a big part of presidents 1s and 2s I don't know if they are graded or selected for complimentary playing styles I don't recall many CAS lads in the final mix last year ISA teams...
