    Wallabies 2023

    A) Scott came out in a podcast/interview literally a couple of weeks ago stating he wants to coach 2 different international teams to win the world cup and one of those being the All Blacks. He stated he is getting old and will be 52 at the RWC27. Given they just announced Foster is remaining...

Awesome, hope he gets another shot, big fan of Wilson. Would love to see for the bled: 7. McReight 6. Valetini 8. Wilson

Well it's not short but probably too short to be a decent line-out option. Maybe Valetini 6, Gleeson 8 would work for next season or post RWC.

Did Wilson play club rugby? How's he looking I wonder.

ok you're trolling me now aren't you. You really think FF (Folau Fainga'a), White and Noah are picked on Nepotism? You actually believe that Noah isn't the best option at flyhalf for this match? Surely you can't believe it's Foley, he's so new to the squad he probably doesn't even know his teammates names. Noah...

    Refereeing decisions

Also, I really wish the 'not straight' rule at line-out time was relaxed when the opposition jumpers don't even get into the air. Let the game continue. So many bloody stoppages.

    Refereeing decisions

I wish O'Keefe would just wait one or two more seconds to blow the whistle for things like 'holding on' or let teams play the advantage more. He really does just have a habit of taking all the flow out of games.

So I've always been a Rennie fan but now I'm not so confident. Is it time to jump on Scott Robertson while there's a chance?

My post suggested Holloway is a placeholder for Gleeson or Swinton... none of them are Brumbies or Hookers. So the poster is really taking any tiny little chance to have a dig at the so-called Brumbies nepotism. Must be hard supporting the Tahs.

I feel Holloway is just going to be a placeholder for Gleeson or Swinton. Maybe he will retain a bench spot since he can cover lock.

I agree. Our pack really lacks consistency, especially in those important area's like the breakdown and contact zone. I think McReight is on the right path for sure. He is still a little green with some inexperienced decisions but we have seen more from him then most of the other 25+ year olds...

I agree, although Arnold was probably slightly better then last week, both Arnold and Holloway were very average. I think Valetini is really the only forward who has really stepped up this season.

The wallabies of the last decade (or two) have been incapable to adapting mid-match.

I think our maul defense has greatly improved. I would hate to see the scoreline if that was not the case. Sorry about our breakdown, and work in the contact zone, but then again, the big Saffa's always have an advantage in this area.

I expect Nic White gone next week. He's had a few poor tests now this season, so it's time to start another - probably Gordon. So much for Laurie Fisher bringing his breakdown expertise to the team. He has his work cut out for him.

First thoughts: The Boks played great. I think we forgot how good they really are. They dominated the physical contest and breakdown. Kicked well. Played hard. A typical Bok win. Reminded me of the RWC final actually, we never looked in it. I swear they must have 100kg+ on our pack. I don't...

Didn't help Tupou, how many calf injuries is that now for the squad?
