    Wallaby selection game/exercise

all the G&GR teams are better than the Foxsports team - are they joking?! Maybe in years to come (post the much anticipated "Cooper-Beale-O'Connor 2010 defence training camp") O'Connor will take the 12 spot for the Wallabies, but Cross at 13? give me a break. Even if he was to be picked it would...

    Wallaby Squad Predictions 2010!

That is my feeling too - deserves a go, but putting him in against top opposition is a worry.

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2010

Maybe you have hit on the problem right there - rugby is now a career option for some, so parents will shop around with rugby programmes or scholarships in mind. Whilst Joeys has a great rugby tradition, facilities, and training, I'm pretty sure rugby scholarships don't exist (well they never...

    What position did/do you play?

I've been wondering what position everyone plays (or played). I get the impression that there are a lot of front rowers around, but it might just be that I pay more attention to the front rowers than the rest. Although I have played almost every position at one stage or other, I was always...

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2010

Wow. Kings comprehensive winners. Even winning a few lower grade games....Topo mentioned the 'period of transition' at Joeys but I had no idea it was this bad. Do they still have compulsory colour comp? How many open age teams are there? Maybe things will improve once the transition is...

S14: Final - North vs South Soweto

I'm picking the Bulls, but either way it is a game to look forward to. The Bulls have a complete game, and have done it before.

    Wallaby selection game/exercise

I'm a bit late to this, but if any of the teams need an additional stubborn and opinionated selector, i'm available. TPN out now too, it would seem (lots of nice arguments discussions to be had there).

    :lmao: deceptively fast apparently.

    Waratahs 2011

thinking about player recruitment, where are the Tahs weak or in need of reinforcement? I'm not convinced that the Waratahs need to bulk up or bring in bigger blokes. If they are planning on employing the same tactics around the ruck as they did against the Stormers they will need to be bigger...

    The Hickey Must go thread

That 'someone' talks a lot of sense. The s15 rotation policy is a welcome change (a bit like benching Anesi, getting Beale on to the field, playing ball in hand rugby.....) - better late than never. The use of the bench is the other area of concern - just as a manager needs to think in terms...

    Wallaby Squad Predictions 2010!

I've got to agree with Ash. Deans is likely to stick as closely as possible to established Wallaby starters. With the number of injuries around, there is some room for discussion though. We are now down to Edmonds, S Fainga'a, Whitacker and Fitzpatrick as hooking options. I am still unconviced...

    Semi 2: Stormers vs Tahs

Well I've watched the match again, this time with less fury (although the pain is not yet dulled). Lawrence was very consistent and persistent. Maybe you could point to the Stormers being offside but never penalised as being inconsistent, but overall I agreed with the penalties he gave. I...

    Semi 2: Stormers vs Tahs

piss weak. there were some 'external' contributing factors, but the main problem was the Tahs themselves. Might comment more once I've watched it again shit

    Waratahs Camp

Can TPN really cover any prop injuries? What sort of experience does he have in propping? If he is not an experienced prop I think an additional experienced prop in the squad would be prudent (experienced at playing the position rather than having s14 experience - although both would be nice).
