Ruggo - it's gone, but I've got you as a reserve. Anyone from the 5 teams need to drop out? Or is anyone incommunicable, i.e., not responding to PMs?

TahJ! Get your arse in gear!

I'm a bit late to this, but if any of the teams need an additional stubborn and opinionated selector, i'm available.

TPN out now too, it would seem (lots of nice arguments discussions to be had there).

With only 30 hours to go I'll make an executive decision here. The last thing TPN said was: I still hope to be available for Fiji, so that's good enough for me. He's in.

Team Falcon have just two bench positions to confirm, but it is looking like a team with a good balance of youth and experience with excitement and solid defensive combinations thrown in.

Team Gold aren't talking to each other and will be submitting three different teams!

Team Dingo looks to be done and dusted with your selection. How do we submit these?

Ah, no. You have to submit a team AND not immediately bitch about it. You've got to front the media (the rest of us) and defend it whether you like it or not. Brinkmanship might be necessary, but when 3pm Wednesday comes, you guys need a team.

What is the deadline again Scarfie?

Do we start a new thread with our team, so they can be dissected individually, or just post it here?

3pm Eastern, post here I reckon, as close as poss to 3pm. And remember - selectors have to back each other!

This selector is about to leave the office, so please find henceforth the all conquering Team Falcon:

1. Daley
2. TPN
3. Alexander
4. Mumm
5. Sharpe
6. Hodgson
7. Pocock
8. Elsom
9. Burgess
10. Cooper
11. Mitchell
12. Giteau
13. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)
14. Ioane
15. Hynes

16. S Fa'ainga
17. Ma'afu
18. Douglas
19. Mowen
20. Valentine
21. JOC (James O'Connor)
22. Horne

We've felt that Alexander was needed in the THP position, allowing for the return of Robinson from injury, and therefore have elected to blood young Daley in the run on side. His mobility and work rate around the park will help Team Falcon's up tempo game plan.

Likewise we have gone for a mobile backrow, with the inclusion of Hodgson, thus rewarding his excellent form for the Force this year. The lock pairing will provide much of the leadership for the pack, and they have both produced excellent form throughout the year.

Luke Burgess had shown strong form under pressure, and thus gets the starting half back position, inside the at times brilliant Quade Cooper. We have determined Giteau's best position to be inside centre, and thus lined him up outside QC (Quade Cooper), with AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) rounding out the centre pairing. We feel this will give the wallabies the strongest possible midfield defensive combination, while also producing a good combination of hard running and creativity.

The back three have basically picked themselves with excellent form throughout the year.

The bench will form many of the new caps for our young side, with players from outside last years wallaby squad forcing their way into the team through good form for the provincial sides.
