    Waratahs 2013

Folau has played fullback all year and is showing that he has now got some grasp of the positional play required at fullback. To ask him now to play wing against the Lions - a position that requires a different set of positional options - would be detrimental to him and the Wallabies. He should...

    My apologies

    Michael Cheika

Barnes came on because Horne was injured - he got a poke in the eye in the first half and had trouble with his vision

New Blog Post: Bill Pulver Reveals his new Third Tier

When you look at the figures 22 players spread over say 10 clubs(estimated number of clubs providing players for this "competition") is only 2 players per club and given that one of these players may be a colts player then the impact to SS is even less. Don't think is a ral rape and pillaging...

    Waratahs 2014

I think rob Horne deserves to stay at 12

    Shute Shield 2013

However, isn't a national third tier a better option for the development and improvement of AUSTRALIAN Rugby. Looking at the SS yes it is a strong competition but is there similar standards in QLD, canberra, Melbourne and Perth? The time has come for the SS to stop being the feeder competition...

    Colts 2013

Sounds like Manly are getting over the blip against Eastwood. Testing times coming up over the next few weeks with Manly, Norths, Randwick and Souths all playing each other.

    IRB Sevens 2012/13

A much better effort byOz in the second half. More aggression and straight running is it too late though

    IRB Sevens 2012/13

How the fk did they win their pool? Thankfully they aren't plying NZ or Kenya it would be more embarrassing

    Thoughts on Folau to rugby

The islander relationships in mungoland are quite different to those in rugby. I still maintain that the influence of players like Palu and TPN will and can play a role

    Kurtley in Trouble Again

There is most definitely a lot of people frothing at the mouth here. Try this scenario - After the match the players go for a drink and Kurtley goes with them. He knows he is on an alcohol ban but has one drink (I don't see anywhere on here where the amount of drinking has been established)...

    Thoughts on Folau to rugby

I think a big influence on Folau staying is the "family" he has developed at the Tah's with the other islander players. The camerarderie he has with these other players is much better than anything that he experienced in league. This may be a small factor but I wouldn't underestimate it's value...

Sorry Dave can't make it this week unfortunately. Look forward to your report of the game/day

    Colts 2013

I think given the history and the closeness of these games no matter how the two teams a faring, the size of the crowd and it being the village green there is a little northern beaches derby at Manly that will be an interesting affair

    Wallabies of the Future

and has he proven to be a first choice player. Hooper is the same age and Pocock is only just older. At the moment and possibly into the future Gill is IMO no.3

    Wallabies of the Future

Gill has to maketheteam first. Lots of options that are better or just as good

    MANLY 2013

A gutsy effort by Manly Colts 1's today. Down 5 regulars to start with and then losing their replacement 10 after about 10 minutes they got up 40 (4tries) to 27. Easts started strong and scored first and led 8 nil after about 20 minutes. They were able to capitalise on a number of Manly...
