Scotland v Wallabies at Murrayfield 12.40am Mon 25 Nov

Well spoken blokes. Excited for Potter, go well. Really liking Williams. Come from nowhere really. Crazy to think recently we had real issues at lock and now we are leaving blokes like Swain and Rodda at home.

Scotland v Wallabies at Murrayfield 12.40am Mon 25 Nov

What sticks out to me here is how inexperienced this squad is at test level. Only 2 players with 50 caps or more. A handful in the 30s. Another handful in the 20s. And a few in the teens and single digits. Bodes well for the future. I don't really know anything about Potter however I remember...

Skelton has to start. Whatever other jink around Joe feels like he has to do to accommodate that is fine by me. I do think the line out will work with him and Wilson on the field. If we were talking about Valetini missing out for Skelton starting then that would be a more difficult decision imo...

Wales v Australia, Monday 18 November 3:10am AEDT

This would be interesting but I get it. They've got to see where Kerevi is at. Hopefully he is over the injuries which have hampered him recently. Imagine him back to his best with Joseph riding the pine and Ikitau running amok all game. Do we dare to dream of 3 legit test level centres all with...

    England v Wallabies, Twickenham, Sun 10th Nov 2:10AEDT / 1:10AEST

I'm surprised at no Skelton. He is a legit point of difference when playing well. Kerevi must not be quite there yet. Otherwise fine, coin flip at 10. I'm hoping Williams continues his upwards trajectory, was quite impressed with his last couple of showings.

2nd this. One of the owners is a rugby tragic so usually has the games up and going. Great beers and food too

Australia v NZ. Bledisloe Cup Series 2024. Sep 21, Sep 28

Watched the game after knowing the result. I did hear the score live after 20mins at 2am, so decided to sleep instead and watch it the next day. So I probably took it in differently to people who saw it live. Honestly I thought the team did well. 9th v 3rd in the world. A team which didn't get...

That's a bold strategy Cotton, let's see if it pays off for 'em.

TBF, judging by that bloke's posts, I'd say he wears velcro sneakers as he doesn't know how shoe laces work. Can hardly expect him to understand the nuanced game of rugby!

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 10th August 2.30pm AEST @ Suncorp,

I couldn't agree more with this. There are a number of players in Oz who would benefit from time spent in Europe. It should be encouraged if possible.

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 10th August 2.30pm AEST @ Suncorp,

He was 19 when he debuted for the Reds, which is what I was referring to. His ability to manage games is about as good I've seen from a flyhalf of 19/20yo in Aus. Donaldson is the only other 10 option with decent top end speed. I just don't see it as limiting and believe it is less necessary...

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 10th August 2.30pm AEST @ Suncorp,

On Donaldson, the more I've seen of him the more I think he is naturally suited to fullback. He plays better with more time. Also he is a very natural runner/athlete. Watch him in space, there is a little Greg Inglis to his stride / shape. Bigger body too with plenty of pace and his abilities /...

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 10th August 2.30pm AEST @ Suncorp,

It's interesting, I would have top end speed way down the list of desirable attributes for a test 10. Acceleration, yes. This is what challenges the line... not top end speed. I'd think game management, vision, passing ability, general play kicking, defense, goal kicking, acceleration are all...

    Wallabies v Wales, 6 July

Usually comes down to big kids playing against small kids growing up. They never had to master this skill coming through juniors so it isn't instinctive. I don't know how players at this level haven't developed that basic skill into contact, much the same as accelerating into the contact or...

    Wallabies v Wales, 6 July

I guess Lolo can go to 12 if needed or perhaps Flook? Daugunu to 13 or even Kellaway? Kellaway the backup 15. Agreed that Donaldson is the more versatile reserve though.

    Chiefs v Reds 7/6 QF

I have to say credit to the Reds though this season for really cleaning up their act on the field. I've been really impressed with this group of young men in '24. Led by an impressive leadership group. I genuinely think they could do something special in the next couple of years.
