And back then when we played Horan, Giteau etc we had some pretty decent sized 13s outside them. Little, Mortlock, Herbert and co. It is very difficult if you have two small centres. Players like Paisami and Perese have a lot of power and play beyond their weight in attack and defence so can...

Yes, but Noah is nowhere near as quick as Giteau

I like Petaia at 13. He can break tackles and offload, has great speed and is sound defensively. I’m sure Rennie will be looking to BT to play Paisami at 12 as much as possible and next year and Jock Campbell is a decent Super Rugby fullback. Petaia slots back in at 13. Petaia outside Kerevi? Yes please.

Hes not big or fast enough to be a realistic option at 12

I think that we really miss Hodge in this regard. He is great at 15 or on the bench and is adequate cover for all back positions including 10

I guess they want to have a look at Foketi

No Lolesio is interesting. Beale the backup 10. If Arnold can get his bum down we should smash their scrum. It looks like we are going to try and beat them into submission.

I also think that Wilson is very much on the mind of Rennie and co. He had a breakout first year when he was excellent at #8 at the Reds and in test rugby. He is a more natural 8 than Valetini, who has really come on in leaps and bounds this year. Ultimately our best back row looks like...

Its Samu or Fainga'a. Samu is fast, good at the breakdown, has a strong lineout and is an excellent running option. We really need to take it to Wales up front. They are missing some forwards and are vulnerable. I think he is the best option. It sure would be nice to have McReight about now.

All the hookers mentioned are above McInerney. Sadly he will most likely not get much game time being behind FF (Folau Fainga'a) and Lonergan. He might want to consider a move? Kaitu’u was OK but a bit loose in the test arena. He will be better for it. It will be fascinating to watch them all play for positions...

I cannot see JOC (James O'Connor) being left out with no Michael Hooper in the side. White will start for the same reason. We really need to finish the season with a W. I think its balls to wall for 60-65 minutes and let Noah have a run after that if we look in a good position. It would be good to see JOC (James O'Connor) at 12...

    Wallabies 2021

I think you are forgetting his lack of defence and hot headed decision making. He has been one of our best defenders recently and his ability to under play his hand putting others in space along with his controlled kicking game is test match gold.

In a RWC squad I am thinking there will be QC (Quade Cooper), one of the young blokes coming through and then Hodge. JOC (James O'Connor) might also be there in the squad meaning we will have many options.

I thought KB (Kurtley Beale) was pretty good in the air and Wright and Kellaway excellent the weekend before? Its a trainable skill and going by the Wallabies social media posts they are practising it a lot.

    Wallabies 2021

Quade is now the best version of himself. He looks in excellent nick and is playing very well. Let’s not forget he had already played 70 tests before being recently recalled and is now playing a better brand of footy than at any time during those previous games for the Wallabies. I dont see a...

Samu or Fainga'a at 7? Probably Samu and Swinton to add impact later. Philip and/or Swain in the 23? I assume TT and AA are fit and firing. Changes in the backs? Perese in there somewhere and Daugunu to get a run. I’d like to see Kellaway back at 15.

Thats on Thorn. Same deal with Slipper when what he really needed was support. QC (Quade Cooper) is displaying the same skills he always did, for Australia and Souths. He just has it together in the top two inches now. Best for Australian rugby to take advantage of that. He is a natural 10 with all the skills...

    Wallabies 2021

But he looked better than Noah in Super Rugby. No doubt JOC (James O'Connor) is not the long term 10, but on tour he remains the best option. Lolesio may develop into a good test 10, but hes not close yet. If he was then Rennie would have persisted with him through the RC and not reached out to Foley and then Cooper...

    Wallabies 2021

If you play Lolesio, Paisami and Ikitau once again we are lacking any real experience in that mid field. I think that JOC (James O'Connor) warrants another start. By all means give Noah time from the bench, hopefully in a more comfortable stage of the game.
