Had enough appeal to attract pretty much most professional players in Australia before the NRC and the Super Rugby clubs deliberately blocking the players from playing in a competition they wanted to play in.

I do as the majority come from NSW anyway which feeds in to the Sydney competition. A lot of players also make the move to play in the stronger competition. They still do without the funding. The Rebels, Force & Brumbies are absolutely pretty much wasting there time looking at the club...

All this conversation regarding Shute Shield and developing players I would like to see how the ARU go without the Shute Shield supplying players to the NRC. Then we may realise how important the NRC is and how important the clubs are that financed it for them.
