I haven't looked through team sheets but were Manly using the same players in 2nd and 3rd grade colts like Penrith were and perhaps have started to get injuries and drop outs as per most clubs at this time of the season and beyond.

Mcgregor was signed with Gordon this year and was no real chance to play any rugby for us after injuring himself in the NSW U20's program can't imagine he would be playing NRC. Hopefully for his sake he might be able to get time though.

I think it would be a good idea to give the Force a little extra lee way with the salary cap if they can afford it. Just make sure they spend it on keeping players they are developing or Australian players though not foreign marquee players!

No I would say not Shute Shield clubs(bar maybe Penrith) have contacts and resources as well as history beyond what any sub district club could dream of. Sure if they took over in 20 years time they might have established some of those connections but still I don't think they would be anywhere...

Lucky we have the Shute Shield otherwise we would not have had a player like Reece Hodge come through!

Be interesting to see as they don't have much coming through Colts the next few years by the looks of it. They seem to get a few new recruits into grade each year though.
