    The definitive Rugby Pub Guide

Thanks Lindo, haven't ventured there to watch the rugby as yet, is definitely on the list. The Welcome is one of my favourites, always gets a good crowd and nice and local for me. Up there with the London for atmosphere

Wallabies at the Rugby World Cup 2011

Lee, when I read that headline I thought 'who the hell is Lippy Vickerman? Has Vicks' wife been distracting him?' Having gotten past that I agree completely about the careless stuff, Kepu is the most obvious to me, and it's not like he does it like he's trying to get away with some subterfuge...

Sheridan out for the World Cup. Wallabies scrum starting to look a lot better

The disparity late in the match may have had something to do with the fact that the game was well and truly sewn up by then. I think the Wobs could have scrummaged better but they weren't put to shame by a very very good Italian pack. It was Higginbotham who dived on it. He was notionally...

You didn't have to incriminate yourself further but if you do get some good tix let us know, there might be a crime spree

Could the Kiwi's be losing Dan Carter?

    So he'll be fine? ;)

Digby Ioane with suspected broken hand

Having broken my scaphoid I feel suitably qualified to say I was told I had broken my wrist. Cast for 6 weeks, and it was a lateral (?) break which is apparently better as the blood supply to the other end of the bone was not cut off. Scaphoids suck. Although do we even know if that's what...

Is stalking legal in NZ, Blue? ;)

RWC 2011 - Bitch, moan and discuss - Referees and Law Discussions

I actually thought it would have hit a taller upright, so the call sits pretty well with me. The Welsh had opportunities to sew the game up even after that and didn't. The Boks were too good.

Digby Ioane with suspected broken hand

Shit I was hoping not to have to read that. I guess someone going down was to be expected and we do have some very very good backup (although short on game time) but I would be much much happier if Diggers was a-ok after scans.

South Africa v Wales match thread

I agree we need a larger sample size, but IMO the major factor would have to be a greater will in the games I've watched to take penalty kicks from further out than teams would usually take them due to the nature of WC rugby and a greater desire to get some points on the board'.

World cup website video - grrr.

I'll second TTrugbyvids. He usually has game highlights up the next day, and almost always in HD too

    RWC - Wallabies v Italy - 11th September 2011

Thanks for posting my thoughts on the game, BH. My brain would like to add it was great to finally see TPN come back onto the field and all of the reserves get a run. Was pretty happy with Burgo's performance too. As for the 1st XV I thought Cooper had a very average (by his stds) running...

South Africa v Wales match thread

I'm thinking the Saffas have too much class to lose this but I'd be very nervous if I was one. I've spent too much time around our SH brethren on here though - I almost want them to win :nta:

I assume you mean in the Rocks? Can often be full of Japanese/Seppo tourists but is a great pub all the same. Good selection of their own brews too

    How excited are you!

Just to make you feel better I always found that effort had little to do with it

    How excited are you!

Wow you go hard with the feedback. In my undergrad it was often par for the course to get 3000wd essays back with a grade and the paper in otherwise pristine condition.

Just thought I'd add. I. AM. FUCKING. PUMPED.
