    Southern Inland Rugby 2018

Even though our rep fixture last year was more competitive than past years it is still inadequate. This is because our rep structure is tied to a Super Rugby franchise which has it's own agenda. As the Fox related the Super Rugby and the Wallabies brands are becoming increasingly irrelevant...

In regard to comments made by Bandar and Whistle Happy. Is it in the best interests of rugby in the riverina to be a franchise of a Super Rugby enterprise? Is it in the best interests of rugby in country areas of NSW to be beholding to the ARU?

Jock's graphic description of the situation sounds very first hand. Is the accusation of racial abuse the reason for the seemingly inadequate penalty? SIRU needs to be transparent in this circumstance otherwise what is now a dog's breakfast is only going to get worse.

Leeton and Waratahs look set to annihilate everyone else in the competition. Good game when they play each other. Bit of controversy when they met in the 1st round last year at Connolly when Leeton got 5 yellow cards in the 2nd half.

According to an article I read in the DA he looks to have been stood down by SIRU for allegedly punching a Tumut official.

It looks at this early stage of the season that this year's grand final will either be played at Connolly or No 1 Oval Leeton. Tumut clearly look 3rd placegetters while The Boiled Lollies are possibly looking at the spoon. The uni teams, Steamers and Blacks will be fighting for minor semi final...

I think it's pretty obvious the season is too short. There are no real possibilities of any new teams. The tyranny of distance is the issue with numbers of players traveling to away games. We need some 'gala days' in the central location of Wagga. About 3 times a year we should have an entire...

A rejuvenated Griffith might outpoint City who seem to have lost some of their good players from last year. CSU seem to be struggling for numbers at training so the Bulls will probably be too strong at home. The Steamers at home could surprise Leeton who seem to be still a few players short of...

Thanks Bandar, appreciate that. Griffith did have 50 to training last week and have entered 3 grades + girls. Phantoms have apparently got players in the pipeline so may pick up as the season progresses.

Bandar is it possible for you to list the predicted placings of clubs from the Wagga DA's season preview. I couldn't get a copy of the DA up here in Griffith.

Bandar don't City sign off their game reports on their FB page JLTBL. Which I assume stands for Jesus loves the Boiled Lollies.

What is it with the politics in Wagga rugby? Why is it that City seem to be the club that fluctuates in fortunes? Waratahs always exist on a superior plane compared to the Lollies. J might LTBL but the city of good sports seems to love a club with a more refined patronage.

If Hay can't field a team in SIRU why would the CW comp be a more attractive proposition?
