    Official Sean McMahon Bandwagon Thread

We need to be cautious not to talk him up too much... I'd say 2 tries and a MOTM performance is all thats expected

Is this significantly more expensive that previous years TBG? I had always been told that Norths fees were on the lower end but that seems right up there with GPS at $450 ($405 if you pay in full 'early bird') and I've heard the Yoku fees may be the most expensive in Brisbane.

    Reds 2015

I think Bris Cities game plan in the final suited his playing style which made him stand out, it was a tight forwards affair. He seemed to go missing a bit in the earlier games when they wanted to use more width with Samu playing. Definitely agree that he was an improver though.

Neither Kotze nor Buchanan are really S15 standard IMO but I guess with the low second rower stocks either one would be sufficient injury cover. I'd personally go with Kotze, he seems to be superior at the set piece and has developed a pretty good running game during the NRC, definitely a player...

    Official Sean McMahon Bandwagon Thread

TWAS is actually McMahon trying to get everyone to lower his own hype! Hype overload! While we have you here Sean, is it true you have already been to Mars and that is why there are no signs of life?

    Ideas for NRC 2015

I think the double-header concept would work at treat being played out of Ballymore with Qld Country playing in one game and Bris City the other. There was a good spread of players from across the Brisbane Premier Clubs in each team this year which meant local club supporters having blokes to...

    Official Sean McMahon Bandwagon Thread

If McMahon is named in the Wallabies side this weekend expect an uproar from the Welsh, I'm sure they'll be scouring the rule books to see whether demi-gods are allowed to play test matches.

    Ideas for NRC 2015

I can see more sponsors jumping on board. Obviously being the first year of a new competition (which was already seen as a risk due to the previous incarnation failing) was a bit of a gamble for sponsors to endorse. A few teams, Bris City for one, didn't have a naming sponsor until several weeks...

    Reds 2015

Are the EDS players under any contractual obligations with the Reds? I'd imagine it would all be unpaid training. If another team comes along and wants to offer them a more secure, paid position I wonder if they'd be free to leave.

    Wales v Australia

I agree with Higgers dad's post above. He has been improving lately, getting back some of the 2011/2012 form.

    Official Sean McMahon Bandwagon Thread

In the few games of Brisbane club rugby that Sean played at GPS a few years ago it was clear he was going to reach the top level eventually. He made an impact in everything he did. I may be wrong but you don't usually see forwards who play 7's crack it in the 15-man game, its usually the...

NRC Final - Brisbane City v Perth Spirit - Saturday November 1

I actually thought it was the good work of Fagaase in the scrum which made the difference. Yes, Parraka was great and his two tries was a nice little bonus but you could see his body shape in the scrum wasn't perfect (yes I know I'm being critical) and it was Sef's soul crushing work on Cowan...

Hasn't Talakai been injured for most of the NRC? Obviously im not a squad selector but I didn't see enough of him that makes me think he'd warrant a full contract. Kite seemed to be out of favour before Talakai's injury which makes me doubt they'd sign him, he seems to be on the outer at the QRU...

NRC Final - Brisbane City v Perth Spirit - Saturday November 1

I reckon Junior may have moved to 13 to avoid having Kerevi's traffic running at him all game, it would have been tiring for him in defence and may have limited his attack yet that is now a non-factor

NRC Final - Brisbane City v Perth Spirit - Saturday November 1

I still think Perth may have played their final against the Rising. Also its their third week in a row on the road which must be a bit draining on the non-professional members of the squad. Question in regards to that actually - what does happen in this situation in the NRC when non-contracted...

NRC Final - Brisbane City v Perth Spirit - Saturday November 1

Kerevi out is a huge blow but I'm still confident Brisbane will take the cake. Kuridrani has been playing his way into a Red jersey the last few games and will hopefully provide the go-forward in the backline by getting himself more involved.

NRC Final - Brisbane City v Perth Spirit - Saturday November 1

I don't think calling Frisby underrated in this competition is correct. He has a couple years of Super Rugby experience and has essentially been the best halfback in the NRC. He really should be 'killing it' every week.

NRC Final - Brisbane City v Perth Spirit - Saturday November 1

Looking forward to seeing Kerevi up against Rasolea in the centers. Both spent time down at GPS Ashgrove. I think a lot of people expected Junior to become the 'breakout star' and although he did make his S15 debut a season earlier I think its Kerevi who should dominate the match-up.

Good to hear TGB and also good news for Squizz. He's definitely taking on one of the tougher Colts positions in Brisbane but as you posted earlier its good that there are already feelers being sent out at the local schools etc
