I mean surley Barnes to fly half is the only sensible option. Beale has done nothing to warrant a starting spot at fullback let alone fly half.

I think the backline can be built around Pat McCabe in the centers. He is the type of player we need there, gives Quade a straight running option and not to mention Patty's strong defence. Ideally I'd love to see him at 13. 12- McCabe 13- Ashley-Cooper 12- O'Connor/Tapuai 13- McCabe

I cannot see Cooper getting dropped. Maybe if O'Connor or Lealiafano were fit, and Beale wasn't playing shithouse, but right now he should stay at 10, keeping Barnes at fullback.

Oh well, I do believe he is an out-and-out 12. But I've seen enough of him at 13 (and yes I'm almost certain he did play a handful of games there this season), to suggest he is capable there but not at Wallaby level.

We could always employee a defensive system where Taps/Harris defends at 10, Fainga'a at 12 and Shipperely at 13 with Morahan and Digby on the wings and Quade at fullback. If Shippers can show he is able to defend well at 13 in trials, I'd like to see that system employed
