    QLD Premier Rugby 2015

The game between Souths and Sunnybank on Saturday seems to have flown under the radar on this forum. Souths played almost a faultless second half to come from a narrow 13-12 lead at halftime to a commanding 44-19 win over the bankers. The Magpies might just miss the final 4 but on their day they...

No wonder Campbell Newman was a great supporter of GPS. It must have been where he got his accounting tips for the State budget.

I think Joe Hockey may want to take over the GPS canteen if Corne Uyc is correct. It provides a better revenue source than anything Joe's got.

Away OS at the moment and missed the Souths v Uni game. Can anyone who saw the game give a bit if a report?

$495 for Seniors and I think $350 for Colts (not absolutely sure) at Souths. So certainly comparable with most Clubs.

Exactly Jeeper there was just speculation built up on Green & Gold by contributers not from Souths.

Souths Colts look a little undermanned this year but in grades they won 3rds, 2nds and 1sts and were more than competitive in Premier Reserves and Premier Grade against Sunnybank. There were a number of players out of the higher grades and players will filter down to lower grades and even to...

Souths performed very well in the second half against Sunnybank, winning the half 12-0, however with a number of players out due to sevens commitments in Sydney (Sunnybank had players out as well) they let the Bank get away to an insurmountable lead in the first half. Murday was taken by the...

Sunnybank 28 Souths 19. Not made easy for Souths with Murday taken to Reds squad about an hour and half before kick off and Jake Milne injured in early minutes. 12 nil tco Souths in second half.

While I am not totally familiar with every member of the Tiger's front row and their reserves but when I was watching the game live and in the video, the Easts front row that I saw in lots of trouble, bore a strong resemblance to Paraka and Sanday.

Numbers are down on previous years but there are sufficient for two teams. As most clubs experience from time to time the number of teams can be cyclical. Souths have fielded three Colts teams for the last four seasons so hopefully next season will see them back to three.

I was at the game but decided to watch a video replay of the Souths v Easts trial from Saturday. The score was 5 tries each and I think that one conversion was the final difference. Once again I couldn't see where Tigers Tale gives the big wraps to the Easts front row and tight five. Three...

The only problem with other Clubs trying to charge is that Crosby Park is the only enclosed ground. I remember when clubs tried to charge in previous years, it cost more to erect temporary fencing than collected in entry money.

There isn't any pre - season hype coming out of the Nest at Yeronga. All the hype is from correspondents on this forum. The Magpies are just going about putting in a good preparation for the season and looking forward to getting back on the paddock for trials and taking it from there.
