It will be interesting if that is the case. In 2005 Souths Reserve Grade had a Grand Final victory against Brothers taken off them by the QRU because a mistake was made and a player came on for the last minute of the game, who had played 5 games run on and one off the bench instead of the...

Bye Bye Brothers. See you in 2016. Maybe all those great recruits JOC (James O'Connor) and waterboy may get some gametime then. Sent from my SM-G900I using Tapatalk

Souths are in!!! First finals since 2009 I think. Could be the year of the low flying Magpie coming in under the radar. Sent from my SM-G900I using Tapatalk

Don't write off the Maggies just yet. On their day they can beat any team in the comp. Sent from my SM-G900I using Tapatalk

Damn you Greene. The Magpies will now need to rely on the Bank folding over the next two weeks. Sent from my SM-G900I using Tapatalk

As Pieman said in a previous post Andy Muirhead played the first three QPR games for Souths in 2014 before moving to NZ to play for Counties Manukau. Sent from my SM-G900I using Tapatalk

Hopefully we are going to be spared the Top Gun references for the rest of the week. I can't stand much more.

Unfortunately for Souths I think the dream is over. They have played some great rugby but a couple of soft losses in the first round have cost them in the end. Last week and again today they have come back from considerable margins to get close but not close enough. I don't normally make...

Jimmy Turner has had personal commitments for last week and this week, Davey Feao and Mike Noble share a rotation and either one could actually start, it appears Shannon Walker hasn't yet recovered from an ankle injury he suffered against Sunnybank, not sure if Tom Murday is still suffering from...

TT unless he actually signed a rego form for Easts in 2015, there is no need for a clearance when a player goes between one Brisbane based club and another Brisbane based club. A clearance is needed if he actually signed with Easts or if he was registered with another Union e.g. Gold Coast or...

No TT just interested in whether Beau Robinson, Tom Murday, CFS, Shannon Walker, Pama Fou and even QC (Quade Cooper) were turning out for Souths. Sent from my SM-G900I using Tapatalk

Some notable absentees for Souths this week. No James Turner, no Beau Robinson (Reds duties), no Tom Murday (still injured?), Davey Feao not in run on. Can they get over the top of Easts and await the return of these players along with CFS, Pama Fou and Shannon Walker and continue to feature...

Quite correct Big Dog, Tom Murday is from Souths. With the return of Beau Robinson, CFS, Murday, Shannon Walker and Pama Fou(from Aust. Sevens) and the current players who have been in such great form over the past 4 weeks, Souths could be an even more daunting force for clubs aspiring to the...

The coaching group of Buzz Picone, Elia Tuqiri and Van Humphries seems to be working well with this young team. Van has instilled some of his "never give up" attitude into the forwards and this was certainly evident on Saturday when 6 of Souths 8 tries were scored by forwards.

It is not really surprising that the Magpies have clicked over the last couple of weeks. They have put out just about the same team for about the last three games and with the addition of Beau Robinson, they are getting the cohesion that a young team takes time to develop. There are only about...
