The BGS midfield was dominant in both attack and defence, thought both the 12 & 13 had great games. The GT performance was not up to standard, hardly any line breaks and looked like they ran out of ideas about how to make one. Well done to the BGS defence.

The two carrying the water where the #8 and #3 from last year, both still in year 11 so will get another crack next year. The #8 ( PJ Sua ) in particular was a huge loss for GT , impressed by how well the GT forwards have stepped up in their absence.

Just had a quick look at the games to come. Lot of the top 6 teams playing one another plus byes for a few yet to be had , deciding the top 4 could well come down to the last round. Got to love a close competition!

Add to the above , it was good to see BBC much stronger in the two U16 teams they fielded yesterday. In previous years this age group has had their A’s playing in the B’s competition, so well done to those involved in getting that sorted.
