Nah mate, that mistake he made when he went back to clear up the kick was so casual and so elementary. I just don't think he has the ability to concentrate for long periods of time. I think he will always be a liability at test level.

I can't think of anyone else who could compete for that claim.

I know this will be interpreted the wrong way, but seriously, Quade Cooper is pies. He is simply not up to it at test level. Too casual.

You can't play the halfback (or anyone who is not intent on joining the ruck) until the ball leaves the ruck. My first reaction was that Barnes got it exactly right, although I reserve the right to change that if I see a replay that shows the player had the ball in his hands.

Good post. I agree with you but only to a point. We are not playing well, and have not played well since the third Irish test. I genuinely think that the AB's at the moment are a 20 point better team than anyone else at the moment but we are playing like we are only just a little bit better.

I refereed at a 4 day intermediate (ie 10-12 years old) 7's tournament recently. There were 32 boys teams and 6 girls teams. The girls teams were a bit disappointing really - more scrag than proper tackling - but you have to start somewhere.
