Yo Reg, Any word on why Nabuli hasn't played any NRC?

It's a tough one. The guy is obviously potentially a star but he's also come off a fucking marathon of an NRL season. How much does he need rest vs Rugby game time in order to be at his peak for the Rebels and potentially Wallabies in 2017?

Pumas vs Wallabies - Sunday 9th October @ Twickenham

Based on what is available for this weekend (and the wallabies post game chat about "we were better than we were in Brisbane but didn't win" my bet is we'll see 1 - Sio (?injured, Slipper didn't cover himself in glory vs Boks) 2 - Moore 3 - Kepu 4 - Coleman 5 - Simmons 6 - Mumm 7 - Hooper 8 -...

I struggle with with this. At the moment I probably have such an negative emotional response to the memories of the 2016 season that it makes it impossible for me to judge Jake's contribution and value with any objectivity. Right now I keep going around in my head wanting Quade to play 10...

Have we totally discarded the idea of Hunt at 12? When I think about it the Reds best playmakers are probably 1 - Cooper 2 - DP 3/4 - Hunt and Mcintyre (can't split) The Reds best backline ball carriers are obviously Kerevi...daylight then everyone else. A halfway option between DP (the...

    Springboks v Wallabies - Sunday 2 October 1am AEST - Loftus Versfeld

I like Timani but I don't see him as a long term starting 8 for the wallabies. Holloway, Houston etc. all have more natural skills for the running, linking and lineout roles. Where I do think Timani has potential (if he can work on his lineout skills) is as a finisher forward because he...

Also how good has Duncan P been for QLD country! Played very strongly on the weekend. He'll be a strong option for the Reds in 2017/18

Part of every contract you would think that if you get injured playing or training for someone then they pay for the surgery and rehab. I know a couple of Aus players in Japan have flown back for surgery here.

Robertson has a better shape for LHP anyway. He's young, plenty of time to figure that out

My mail is that Moore's 3 year contract is in fact a staged retirement plan, and has within it plans to transition into coaching over 2018-19 and in retirement. I have also heard that the plan is that Moore won't be travelling further than Auckland or Melbourne to play for the Reds in 2017 so...

Higgers had and has more natural ability in more areas than Leroy, which when harnessed properly made him a bit better player on average. But the mental stuff, attitude and what they value, how they perceive themselves as players and stage of their careers all play into what they could offer...

    Rebels 2017

The Rebs back five has sweet depth next year. The question will be what to do with Mafi and Timani. Mafi is a wide running athlete, where Timani is more a tight-loose bruiser who is more than handy pushing a prop. It'll be interesting to see how they manage it

Poey isn't coming on the Spring Tour. Leroy is already in England. Let him meet the team and train before the Argie game at twickers, then hang out over there before joining the squad in November

Yeah like Reg said there is a few they that are EPS or in some kind of u20's development retainer. Moses Sorovi is the 3rd scrum half, Mack Mason is another 10. Korzcyk plays 4,5,6,8 and remember they signed Angus Scott-Young from the 20's who is another 6/8 and part time lock.
