Wallabies v Springboks Saturday 9th Sept NIB Stadium

I read where Hunt will be available for the 3rd NRC game for Brisbane so that will be 16th Sept.

Wallabies v All Blacks Saturday 26th August at Forsyth Barr Stadium, Dunedin

The real question is.... Would Cheika have selected Fardy if Fardy was going to the Waratahs for 2018 rather than overseas, and.... If Simmons was going overseas next year rather than to the Waratahs, would he have been omitted? Stick that in your corn pipe & smoke it.

    Australian Rugby / RA

What is it that Sanzar have over the ARU? They are slowly but surely seeing the ARU disintegrate in front of their very eyes. It should be a time for calm heads, with World rugby chairing a meeting of the stakeholders in this unfolding drama, including the Western Force, to bash out a solution...

Fairly weak defense with both Beale & Kerevi in the centres. McMahon & Hooper will need to be backing up real time.

Wallabies v All Blacks, Saturday 19th August, ANZ Stadium Sydney

I have supported the Wallabies for over 50 years. Nothing will dim my ardour for the team, ever. Those who are selected to play, will give their all - no doubt. As their predecessors have done before them. So stand behind your team... or fuck off!

Asking a solicitor for his legal opinion on a contract is akin to asking him how much money can you give him.

Forward Passes - no longer an infringement?

But if the refs penalised/yellow carded early, especially for the take outs around the ruck area, that would stop the infringement from occurring for the remainder of the game, as would the other infringements discussed above.

Forward Passes - no longer an infringement?

Am I the only one noticing time & again tries awarded when the ball is passed metres in front of the passer, yet the referee & assistant referees are wearing double-eye patches? Not even the TMO is consulted by the referee when he asks "is there any reason why I cannot award the try?" The TMO...

    Reds v Brumbies Rnd 16 2017

Jeeeeze... its raining, its cold, the Reds are just not there, and I thought I'd put the heater on, warm up in front of the TV along with a bottle of red wine, and change stations at half time to a Foxtel library program if the game goes as expected:) Then some punter stuffs it all up by giving...

Australia v Scotland, 3:00pm 17 June Sydney Football Stadium

From watching this game against Scotland, I think I've finally clicked onto why we are so far behind the AB's. Both the Wallabies & the AB's make their line breaks. Add to this the AB's (& not the Wallabies) ability to put in short grubber kicks from any of their inside backs. THE BIG DIFFERENCE...

    Reds 2018

^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ The REDS contracted players probably feel slighted to be put back to club land, and find it hard to get enthused to put on their best set of boots. Opposite to when a player gets promoted to the Reds - he will be highly motivated.

Barbarian, I can't really see where you're coming from;) Maybe we are all in agreement, and perhaps more will be said once the Wallabies side is announced. Also if we were playing the sheep shaggers or the Souafreekaners then there would be their expatriate doomsayers all over the thread.

Wallabies v Fiji, 3pm Sat 10th June, AAMI Park, Melbourne

You have to feel for a guy with the name Dick Hardwick. No wonders he's in the Wallabies. Its sort of like 'a boy named Sue'. Toughen up or ship out

Wallabies v Fiji, 3pm Sat 10th June, AAMI Park, Melbourne

I'd imagine that at this time of year the rugby diary would be fairly full on. Whichever Saturday was picked will collide with another rugby tournament in the country. Besides which, the ARU scheduling would be made to coincide with the International schedule set by powers beyond the ARU

    Reds 2017

I'd like to know, during my insomniac night in the wee early hours, if the players took the loss as hard as we fans. I can't help thinking that they were probably downtown in Eagle Street, or over at the Valley, throwing their under-earned dollars around like confetti with dolly birds vying for...

^^^^^^^^^^^ We all know that referees only have their mother as a friend, but surely something should be done to make these highly paid "professionals" more proficient. For instance, having regular seminars with recently retired 'guru' referees giving lectures on the finer points of managing...
