That's a good looking team fatprop. I would go with beale over one of barnes or harris on the bench because he offers more variety in the positions he can cover. He may be unfit and out of form, but barnes is pretty out of form at the moment as well.

If an "A" team at any age level of schoolboy rugby calls for uncontested scrums than that should result in them forfeiting all competition points for that game. It might be acceptable in the 5ths when you don't have enough props, but for the premier teams to be calling uncontested is a mockery...

Considering centre and winger are positions where younger guys can most easily make the step up*, taking a punt of some the academy prospects might not be such a bad idea. (*As opposed to say prop or lock.)

I cant think of too many 12's worth signing at the moment. The only place you are going to find an uncapped player who is super rugby standard is NZ or South Africa. So they may hold off and watch a bit more ITM and Curry Cup before signing someone. I still think they would be better...
